I was talking to my friend, or I should say, so called friend and he's an Atheist. He was recently banned for a week from the Atheist Guild on gaia for stating that, if he could, he would go back in time to kill Jesus...
I don't know what to do. Should I stay friends with him or what... I can't beleive he would even say that!
well that would give your friend a chance to deprivev Jesus of martardom thus avoiding some of the greatest tragities of written record Even I would have to think about that one kill one person and save millions...that really isn't a bad deal
Yes, but technically Christ saved them, all the millions of Christians that have died have been brought to Heaven. So, they didn't really "die."
I guess it all depends on what side of the meadow you stand on perspective is key to understanding the mind some see the wonders faith brings while others see not but rot and waste one thing is sure both sides may hear the screams of pain both sides try to fix what they see as a problem how do both sides go about doing so is the question to ask
I suppose the whole cause and effect kind of thing plays into this whole ordeal... I think I'll just let God decide on what to do and stop worrying about it XD
I'm not sure that is the best way to go about finding answers
I think that came out wrong, I meant to say, I'll rely on God to decide on this whole issue.

Regardless of if he chooses to believe the same things as you or not, he should respect your beliefs and the beliefs of others. Make sure he understand why his actions are offensive to you. If he makes an effort to fix things, then I'd say it's fine to stay friends with him. If not though, you may be better off without him. Don't completely cut ties, but just take into account his reaction to things like this.
Though, even if he did go back in time and kill Jesus, he'd still be fulfilling the prophecy, just in a different way. The only was to really foil Christianity would be to prevent the conception of Jesus, which I'm pretty sure would be impossible since Jesus was not concieved like most children rofl

Yeah, but some situations you just have to let God decide the best course of action. And I think it's staying friends with him because over the past couple days I have realized how totally friendless this kid is, and how everyone makes fun of/ hates him. Of course, his is incredibly annoying and very pompous, even so I feel bad for him so... yeah XD
@Freelance - You have a point there! And haha, nice XD
