After walking in a fairly large circle around their stopping point, Kujaku sat down on the grass. He crossed his legs and slumped forward, resting his elbows on his knees as he saw Obsidion approach with a large yellow crystal. "That strange. What that crystal?", he asked, leaning his head on one of his hands. Whatever Obsidion found looked like something that wouldn't just show up around a volcano like this.

Hrothgar scratched his head as he studied the stone with his eyes. "It looks like sulfur. It's pretty pure though, that's not natural on the surface and definitely not raining from the sky either." Hrothgar took a second to sit down as he thought about it, It might have been another earth elementalist, or perhaps an infernal gate opened up in the sky. Either way Hrothgar didn't care much. All seeing that stone did was prove to him that it was far from just a natural disaster. Still, it was a question he didn't ask.

While recovering, Kujaku took a few minutes to thumb through the grass. It felt pretty nice to reach an area with regular grass. He was used to the shrubs and thick damp greenery of the jungle, but grass was pleasant. The breeze was welcoming too. "Hmm... Me hungry.", he stated as he looked up toward the clear sky. It hadn't been long since their last encounter, but Kujaku was wondering when the next would come, and what to eat.

"Get rid of that thing, Obsidion." Hrothgar commanded. As he did, Obsidion tossed the chunk of sulfur over its shoulder sending it rolling a short distance across the path before stopping. Obsidion sat down just by the edge of the path and held still as it usually did.

Hrothgar checked one of his bags and tossed a beef shank to Kujaku upon hearing him claim to be hungry. "Here." It was a fairly large bull, it'd likely be enough to feed both of them for another day or two, and thus Hrothgar kept the leftover meat he grilled yesterday. Since he was feelin a bit of the hunger pangs himself, Hrothgar took out another shank and began to munch on it.

At about the last second before it would have hit him, Kujaku noticed the chunk of beef and bone flying toward him. In an instinctual reaction, he turned his head and opened his mouth, biting onto the meat, then grabbing the bone to hold it steady. His first bite made that classic 'om nom nom' sound as he began to chew on the meat.

After a little bit of snacking, Kujaku had to ask as he finished up his bone. "So what we do now? We head back to western earth land?"

Hrothgar shrugged lightly in response to Kujaku's question, "I guess that's about the stretch of it." Nothing left here but wasted mountains. I suppose I should check on my family too." He glanced down the road and began to think about his old home. His family should be okay. They're giants after all. Hill giants were known for being nomadic. If they weren't at the house they might just be doing what Hrothgar was doing now.

Kujaku cleaned his bone and tapped it against the ground before tossing it. Just before the bone struck the ground, Kujaku muttered a prayer in orcish. He slowly stood up and looked around the area to get his bearings then wait for Hrothgar to finish. "You family hmm?" Kujaku asked casually. He didn't think all families were the same but he wasn't terribly tempted to ask Hrothgar about his. It was likely though that since Kujaku didn't see any other giants in the area, Hrothgar's combat style was a family skill. Thinking about it more did make Kujaku start to wonder but only enough to ask, "What your trade?"

Hrothgar's eyebrows rose in confusion. That question seemed to come from left field at least as far as his train of thought was concerned. "My trade?" He thought for a moment, Maybe Kujaku was talking about his family's business. "We're wine sellers." My Grandpa married into some rich family that owned a vineyard. Before that, his family was mostly a warrior tribe and my Grandma's took to agriculture. Why?" he asked, before continuing to eat the remainder of meat left on the beef shank.

"Me see... Me just curious." Kujaku shrugged. His own family came from a long line of shaman. Kujaku's father was a shaman, his grandfather a shaman, and so on back through his lineage. His father just happened to be an odd one to fall in love with an ogre. Hrothgar did answer to somewhat what Kujaku expected though. He was satisfied with the giant's answer. Once that little chat was over Kujaku had little else to talk about. He was beginning to get antsy and wanted to fight something.

Hrothgar finished his shank, cleaning it to a leg bone before tossing it over his shoulder. He stood up and gave a low burp as he was prepared to get moving again. Watching Kujaku's strangely tense and irritable posture, Hrothgar scratched his forehead. "Something buggin you?", he asked raising an eyebrow. His first guess might have been ants but he didn't feel anything, and it might have been a trivial matter to an ogre anyway.

Obsidion stood up after Hrothgar did, and waited patiently for him and Kujaku to move so it could follow as it usually did.

After Hrothgar had asked, Kujaku took a more relaxed stance. He sighed and shifted his weight left and right, "Me just bored. Me want to fight." The area they were in was much like a battlefield, it was a battlefield at some point, but now quiet and desolate like the other region of mountains they were in. Being half Orc it was difficult to not feel like he was missing out on warfare somewhere. On that note he was a bit baffled as to why things were so quiet in the mountains in the first place. Perhaps Fire wasn't placing a lot of urgency on taking back their mountains from Air.

"Yeah, I know what you mean. This was a battlefield, but it's so quiet now." Hrothgar took a few steps toward the road as he gave the landscape another quick look over. He was getting fairly tried of the over all dry mountain landscape. There was grass at points such as where they were but there were very few trees, whatever buildings were standing were scrapped, there were craters, but no motion. "Lets head back. I wonder if Kraftig Felter is still a shambles? We've been running around the wilderness for some time." Hrothgar started marching toward the road to continue on out of the mountain area. It wouldn't be long until he could see the bordering river.

Obsidion waited only a few paces before it started plodding after Hrothgar loudly.

Kujaku nodded in agreement to moving on. With a quick burst to jogging, He followed after Hrothgar, just a short few paces head of Obsidion. Every so often he would glance back just to see the ruined landscape as it began to get farther and farther away. Taking the road was far more pleasant than the previous method of climbing and jumping through foothills and rough terrain.

After a few downhill drops, The river valley at the edge of the mountains was all around them. The dry mountain air had been left for moister valley air, and the floodplain grass was fairly tall. With flatter gentler land, Hrothgar picked up his pace as he made his way for the bridge to leave the mountain territory. Seeing as it was a stone bridge, Obsidion didn't have any trouble crossing it and didn't have to avoid it.
