She followed him in the tree's for a while till they came upon the human camp of which he spoke. She covered her nose as they passed. She looked for anything of value but saw nothing but ruin. She didn't know how they died, but from the looks of it, it was very violent. **Did they....Kill themselves?** She wondered, a mixture of shock and horror in her send. **We should get rid of this smell, and maybe the animals will come back, what do you think?** She made a mental note of where it was in relation to everything else and kept following him, finally getting on Shine's back once she grew weary of leaping from the tree's.

He nodded to her as they passed the decay and carnage "Looks that way, I've already taken what I could from them, not a whole lot. Some arrow heads and a stone dagger." He patted the side of his hip where the crude dagger lay. He smiled at the elf, she was by no means beautiful, but she had exotic qualities that he liked in women. feral. "We probably could, it might help" he said shrugging "Or we could just look elsewhere. The river is off to the south a bit and we've been mostly following it" He neared the cave and frowned, he didn't see peyote and saw tracks leading from the cave. "Now where did she run off to...." he wondered aloud and yelled quite loudly "PEYYYYYYOTE! GET YOUR BUTT BACK HERE!" He went inside and gathered up their belongings and started to follow her light footprints in the forest earth.

Peyote kept walking, the sound of her own sandaled feet crunching on the twigs underfoot drowned out the sound of her friend's voice as her own calls faded away. Where was he? Why didn't he come when she threw the rock? He said he would. crying
A chatter from over head drew her attention. eek It was another one! Peyote screamed again and turn and ran, heading in a different direction. Not that she got very far. Once again, like a blonde in a bad horror b-movie, Peyote tripped on nothing and landed in the dirt. She looked over her shoulder at where the squirrel had been, but didn't she anything.
High Ones! It's stocking her! She scooted on the ground, as if incapable of getting to her feet. Tears streaked down her cheeks. gonk gonk gonk gonk gonk gonk gonk

She made mental notes of what he spoke of and then realized she forgot to let Savith know what was going on, she sent a Private send to him and told him about the two other elves she had found and that they would be returning soon. **Her name is Peyote?** She thought that name sounded familiar, she had visited the Gobacks only a few times but that didn't sound like a goback name.. Oh well, might as well look for her as well **Peyote???** She sent openly, and followed the goback through the woods.

He picked up the pace a bit, concern covering his features, as he called again.
PEYYYYYYYYOTE!!
He nodded to her question and continued to follow the footsteps and hollar for her. "She's not from my tribe" he could tell what she was thinking. "She's from sorrows end, I was visiting there for a while... good wine... good women." He sighed and wished to be back in simpler days, when he didn't have to do much. He looked at the newcommer and shook his head "I dont think sending will help, she's a bit touched in the head" he tapped on his temple. He didn't care much for the sending anyway, the high ones gave you a perfectly good set of lungs, use them.

Now that she wasn't trying to tromp around, Peyote could just make out her name being called.
"Oh! Over here! I'm over here," she cried out, still on the ground. She even lifted a hand to wave, as if that would make them get there faster.

**oh...* she said to his reply, and wondered how an elf so prone to the bitter cold could stand it in the sweltering hot. she shrugged, it was none of her business. **Well, I don't use my voice much other than making calls and howls...** She sent back, thinking if she howled it might scare the girl more and make it harder to find her. She had Shine stop and sniff the footprints, though the Goback was doing fine in following where she went. **I never did ask your name, mine is starsong, and this is my companion shine. ** she made small talk as she continued to look around for the missing elf.

He started to run to where she was, weaving in and out of the tree's with ease and knelt down beside her. "Oh Pey! How did you get way out here?" He picked her up with a tender touch, the warmth in his eyes nearly genuine. "Why didn't you call me with the rock? Did you say the words right? You have to say the words right or it won't work" he expertly lied to her. Deep down he was a bit upset at himself for being gone so long, he hadn't intended on it. "I found others" he continued to fib before Starsong could get there "We can go join them, we'll be safe there." He smiled a winning smile at her.

Peyote's arm lifted up toward Relim as he approached. She dropped her face into his chest, sobbing. gonk gonk
"Oh, Relim," she cried. "It was horrible! It had glowing red eyes and it tried to eat me! And I tried to call you, just like you said. I threw it, but you didn't... what right words? You just said throw, right? I threw it. But you didn't come back and it tried to eat-" She paused, tears drying from her eyes but still rolling down her cheeks. "Others," she questioned as she lifted her face from his strong muscled chest. She leaned over to look for the other elf, sniffling as she does. cry

She trotted behind him, a bit put off that she was being ignored, but she supposed that finding this elf was probably a top priority of his. She slowed as she neared where the two were talking and came to a stop not too far away.
She watched the two for a bit then looked away, she didn't want to intrude. sure enough she heard the river not too far from where they were, she bet if they followed it, they would come out right by the cove and the waterfall.

He pet her hair and smoothed it out, picking out some twigs and leaves. "I know sweetpie, I know. Its ok, I'll teach you to use the rock another time, I'm just glad your safe" He soothed. He pulled her back and couldn't help but laugh at her dirty face sniffling and looking at the other elf. "What are you? A zwoot?!? I can't tell your face is so dirty!" he stood up and helped her to her feet. "This is starsong, she and a few others have taken refuge that way" he pointed to the west as he said this. "we are going to stay with them until we figure out what to do ok?" He said this as if he were speaking to a young child. He started to walk back to starsong 'where are my manners, this is peyote, from the Sun village, and I am Relim of the GoBacks. we'd be honored if you took us back to your friends" He smiled and shifted the supplies on his back as he looked up at the other elftess. Hmmm two of them, this could prove to be fun and interesting, that long smirk started to spread across his face again as his eyes glazed a bit as if he were daydreaming.

Peyote giggled a bit, blushing under her dark complexion even as a hand reached up to push at her tears. She let herself get pulled to her feet, leaning on the fair-skinned elf as he lead the way toward Starsong.
At the sight of her, the sun villager's eyes widened.
eek "Great Sun! You're a wolfrider," Peyote exclaimed as her eyes alightened upon the beast Starsong rode. Her fingers went to her lips in a bit of fear and wonder. She smiled then, "Shade and sweet water! It's so good to see another friendly face! Is there water for a bath at your camp? I feel so grimey!" 4laugh sweatdrop

She looked at Relim then at Peyote. She could definantly tell where the dark skinned elf had come from, she looked vaguely familiar. Maybe on one of her visits to Sorrows End. Shine had layed down and looks about lazy from one elf to the other, allowing himself a quick sniff of the new commer then closed his eyes for a bit.
She blinked at Relim as he introduced them both. She was shocked, he was being so eloquent, it didn't seem like his type. Then again, she never understood GoBacks much. His gaze seemed to have stopped and rested on her bosom and she rolled her eyes. **Yes, there is...** Then she stopped, remember that Relim had said she didn't send 'yes.." she whispered harshly, not accustom to using her voice much. "There is a waterfall, and fresh water, the vast deep is nearby too for fishing and swimming"
She smiled at the two and urged Shine up. "Let us follow the river" she said and headed southward towards the sound of the water flowing.

He smiled back at Starsong and then smiled at Peyote. "See, we'll be just fine!" He said to reassure her and began to follow the other elf, helping Peyote along the path to the forest, telling her stories of faeries and magic to help her cope with the journey as he had been doing since Sorrows End. He was grateful to Starsong who had not gone the way they came, away from the horrors of the dead five fingers.
