Appearance Description
Hotaru has red shoulder length hair and big red eyes. Her skin is usually pale though she still looks healthy. She usually wears something red in her clothes. Currently she wears a dark red shirt with black sleeves, black pants, and red boots. She has no identifying scars or birthmarks.
Personality
Hotaru is a carefree girl. Her days consist of training, eating ramen, and playing. There are times when she gets mad and turns into a smart a** or into a spoiled brat but she's trying to work on that. She likes just about everyone and if she doesn't like someone she thinks it's for a good reason. Hotaru hates to stay inside and usually stays up late wandering around Konoha. She also hates hot weather.
History
Hotaru used to life in a forest with her parents in a small hut. One day, her mom asked her to stay in a closet for a while and when she came back, her parents were gone. They had been blown up by assassins that day and Hotaru didn't know what happened. That was about two years ago and Hotaru had been wandering around, looking for her parents since then. She doesn’t know about her demon side or that she has the power to freeze things on a small scale. During her travels, she met many friends. One of those friends was named Shikamaru. He didn’t want to leave her wandering around on her own, so he said that he would watch after her. She began to live a village called Konoha and began to train as a ninja. Currently, she is a genin and stays at Shikamaru’s house. She recently found out that her parents had died so she has stopped wandering around gaia as much. It has been about a year since Hotaru found out about her parents and she has turned her attention to becoming a great ninja. Her specialty is ice jutsu. She now knows that she is a demon, though she doesn't know she's half human yet. She struggles to control her new found power but needs more practice. She pretty much froze the Ichiraku ramen shop once.

Yuki Biimu no Jutsu (Snow Beam) - User sends a constant stream of snow at the opponent in the form of a beam. The beam is capable of delaying foes, driving them out of balance and possibly even knocking them over, however, no actual damage is done by this attack unless target is driven into a wall or into something dangerous.
Touketsu Kujiku no Jutsu (Frozen Crush) - Slamming their hand into the ground, the user causes a three foot thick block of ice that is one foot taller than the user's normal height to rise up in front of them. The block of ice then falls forward in an attempt to crush the target under its weight.
Hyouton, Ryuuki Hyouheki ( Ice Element Rising Ice Wall) - A large wall of ice, 10 feet tall, 7 foot wide, and 2 feet thick, erupts in front of the user as a shield.

Fuusou Shugojin: Fuusou Ibuki (Frost deity: Frost Breath) - User blows their breath, cooling the moisture of their breath and the air they blow, able to freeze anything it comes into contact with. User can even freeze a weapon to increase its damage. However, the range of this jutsu is only five inches.
Fuusou Shugojin: Uwabari Hi (Frost Deity: Traitorous Earth) - User manipulates the ice below a target's feet into small spikes that cover a radius of one foot, making it possible for slowing their movements and even injuring them. Victims wearing weak footwear, such as the common ninja sandals or none at all, will be injured by this technique.

Fuusou Shugojin: Ketatamashii Hi (Frost Diety: Piercing Ice) - User takes ice and forms it into an icicle dagger seven inches long.
