In response to hunters just auto shooting and then going to read, obviously your guild needs to get new hunters. I know when my boyfriend raids he's got more responsibility than most other people on a boss fight. Hell, he'll even pick up other responsibilities when someone slacks it.
Also, in response to hunters not doing a lot of dps...wow, seriously, you REALLY need to meet someone who actually knows their class. I can't think of a single raid or dungeon where my boyfriend wasn't in the top 2 spots for dps.

Also, about the auto shooting, you do realize many hunters make hot key scripts right? That cycle through skills so they just have to hit one button. It doesn't mean their brainless, it means they're pretty damn smart. :'D Actually, any hunter who doesn't do that should seriously consider reading up on the class, it'll save your a**.
