Dawntreader5 Anna Mnemi Dawntreader5 I would do something set entirely inside the TARDIS. There would be no real monsters, or aliens, or anything. It would mostly be character development. I know I would bring back Rose, because she's my favourite companion, and I think she has a lot of potential for inner discovery and development. She an Donna would make an interesting pair too. Maybe I'd even bring back Jack, because I think he must have a lot of good backstory. It would be dialogue heavy, with maybe some flash backs, to Gallifrey, to Rose's life in the parallel universe, to adventures that the Doctor has had with both Rose and Donna, I don't know. I also don't know why they're trapped in the TARDIS, but it would give us a chance to see the other rooms. I think there was a First Doctor serial that was a little like that. But I'm not sure what it was about. There may have been. I lose all of the running, don't get me wrong, but I loved that bit in The Sound of Drums Were the Doctor just sort of talked about Gallifrey and the one Torchwood episode with the collapsed building that showed how every one of the team members came to work for Torchwood. I <3 character development and backstory. Something like that might work quite well. Flashbacks are the only opportunity we have to see Gallifrey now, after all.

Unless the Doctor and the current companion some how end up in an alternate universe where there was no Time War and Gallifrey still exists. Then maybe something happens causing the two parallel worlds to intersect and become one, essentially restoring Gallifrey. I think something like that happened in some other show, I want to say Sliders.

That would be so awesome if that happened.
