Profile ID: "J"“It's a crystal. Nothing more. But if you turn it this way...” Birth Name: JarethTitle: Goblin KingNicknames: His Nibs, "J" D.O.B.: UnknownGender: MaleSpecies: Angelic Otter (Fae)Age: Elder (Don't remind him it's a four-digit number) [Gen. 1]Personality:Some may describe Jareth as an arrogant, selfish, high-maintenanced, baby-snatching fae prat who dresses like a cross of a medieval/80s glam rocker. Say this to his face, and it will earn you a one-way trip to the Bog of Eternal Stench. Jareth can be haughty and domineering at times, but what else would you expect from someone whose ego is as outrageous as his hair and choice of... pants. He is a bit stubborn as well when things don't go as according as planned. But as an other-worldly fanatical being who can control time, space, illusions, and above all, dreams, he can be quite understanding. Albeit, his character is as random as the labyrinthine maze of his kingdom. His mood is generally snarky and/or deviously teasing, but can easily switch from harmless to dangerous within a heartbeat. Not to say he's bipolar, just that he can easily become extremely agitated. Very easily. With an army of (mischievously nosy) goblins at his disposal, Jareth is certainly not a force to be taken lightly. ParentsUnknown SiblingsUnknown Mate: Sarah WilliamsChildren: None

Profile ID: Unidentified Big things come in small packages. Birth Name: KiraraNicknames: ---D.O.B.: ???Gender: FemaleSpecies: Demon Cat/Werebob (Nekomata)Age: Adult (in both forms) [Gen. 1]Personality:This bobcat's small stature is something of an oddity. Standing at the height of a pygmy otter, one would assume Kirara is an extremely stunted bob-kitten. Surprisingly enough, the cat is actually an adult. What's even more bizarre is the cat's startling, flame-engulfing transformation into a cougar-sized, fang-bearing alteration of her minuscule form. This demonic form is mainly for defense, hunting, scouting, and tracking down and killing other demons. But she tends to switch between the two forms quite frequently. Kirara is generally misunderstood, but quite a kind and affectionate creature despite her predatory instincts. She's initially very curious towards any other creature that she feels doesn't pose a threat. The demon-cat isn't exactly sure how to deal with otters. It's sort of a bother-me-and-I'll-eat-you relationship. Except for the ones she's befriended, of course. ParentsFather: Unknown Mother: UnknownSiblingsUnknown Mate: None Children: None

Kirara's Character Bio The Demon Slayer Kirara was born into a dark time in Nippon, set centuries into the past. A time of warlords, death, spirits, and demons. Mortals and demons usually viewed each other's race as a horrific evil that needed to be expelled. The worst part about it was that, as well as killing off each other, the two races would constantly be at war with themselves. Some demons killed each other off to gain power, or just merely out of smite. Mortals would betray each other for... well, essentially the same thing. Kirara's kind, the demon-cat, were often not bothered by mortals due to superstitions that their family would be cursed by bakeneko if they did so. Some people even found companionship in the demonic cats. Unfortunately, there were those who would still raise a blade to the cats just because of their demon status, which they strongly believed needed to be vanquished. Kirara lost several kin due to this cause, along with some of her litter-mates who were picked off by other demons at a young age.
The she-cat, however, was saved by a young miko, a priestess, from a small horde of ogres whom had found her in an exhausted state. The miko took her in and nursed her back to health. In return, Kirara would serve as the shrine maiden's friend, guardian, and aid in slaying corrupt demons and expelling possessed mortals. The demon cat continued living centuries after the priestess died, but never stopped serving this purpose. She fought neither for the mortals nor the demons, but to protect the balance of both worlds.
One faithful night, Kirara's scouting had brought her to a small town. She had been tracking the trail of a group of demons, or rather a large, traveling mass of meager yōkai. On her way to the village, the cat had caught drifting rumors of a witch who was capturing young woman with hordes of summoned demons in order to take their youth. It appeared Kirara had arrived just in time as she spotted a pack of yōkai flying away from the village with two small girls captured amongst their ranks. Flames sprouting from her paws and twin-tails, the demon took off through the air after the group, devouring any small demon or imp that had fallen behind. The horde had led her to a cavern on a mountainside, where upon landing at the entrance, she suddenly became engulfed in a barrier.
"Ohhh, what's this?" a craked voice crooned from within the depths of the cave. "You're not one of my lovely summoned demons, are you, little nekomata?" A decrepit old witch emerged from the shadows and admired the irritated beast fondly. "No, but you'll be a nice addition to my collection... Yesssss, you can be of some use to me once I retain my beauty by stealing the youth of the girls my servants brought to me. Then I can take you back in time through my portal--" Kirara, while struggling to break out of the sealed enclosure, could see a glowing patch of purple light illuminating from one of the cave walls with dark, swirling depths. "-- and use you to kill the damned hermit who cursed me into this form so I may devour him for his powers..." she cooed before turning away to pick up a staff propped up against the wall and started preforming a spell to begin draining the youth from the sacrificial girls. Before the sorceress could get too carried away, Kirara finally burst through the barrier and threw herself at the witch. Caught off guard, the old enchantress just hardly avoided the strike, receiving a row of gashes along her arm from a razor-sharp set of unsheathed claws.
Pivoting quickly to strike again, Kirara snarled as the woman's hand shot up and grasped her neck; her long and yellowed nails sinking into the cat's skin. Tendrils of blue flame slithered onto the witch's other palm before she slammed it onto the cat's forehead. Howls of rage turned into mewls of pain as the withered enchantress' seal took effect and forced Kirara to revert into her small, helpless state. The aged witch sneered at the kitten-sized feline she now had dangling by the scruff. "Insolent pest," she spat before hurling the demon-cat onto the ground. The old female moved forward in attempts to finish her off-- however, Kirara's distraction had faltered the witch's attention on the youth spell, which was beginning to spin out of control and rapidly reverse the effects. The witch shrieked in outrage before her flesh disintegrated into dust and bones fell to the floor with a clatter. The youth was returned to the captured girls, but unfortunately, the sorceress's death caused the spell on the time portal to backfire as well. Kirara tried to pull herself to her paws in a last-ditch effort to get away, but the portal was sucking in anything within close proximity, including the energy-drained demon cat. A blinding light engulfed the small feline, the portal warping her into its depths and sending her flying through a dark abyss before popping out of existence. Kirara was hurtled through time and space, except the now defective spell had sent her 500 years into the future, rather than 50 years into the past.
She would later wake up tired, weakened, and bewildered to find herself in new terrain; completely unaware that she was half-way around the world and hundreds of years away from her home of feudal Japan, now taking residence in a place the inhabitants called The Otter Oasis.
