One thing: Steam-powered Super Dreadnought Dirigibles
I saw that you guys were talking about expanding past just a city and building an entire world. Dirigibles are good for quick travels in fantasy worlds.
Either way, what could be cooler than looking up into the sky from an Old English/Victorian balcony and the sky is simply filled with large, flying behemoths of copper and steam.
*goosebumps*

Why you gotta vocalise my ideas? Well, not completely, I was thinking more along the lines of a floating Ironclad.

Awwwwww, Ironclads look tremendously cool. I went to see the USS Cairo in Vicksburg like two years ago.
I'd be down for that aswell. It's a cooler color too. Really loud too. A bowmen can use a floating ship's overhead flight as a sound suppressor for arrow shots.

So, with these flying Ironclads, would that idea be expanded to the idea of ships in the water and sailing?I saw that there was a port thread already in the Human sub-forum, would the actual sailing ships fly through the air, too? Would the ports be like 'sky' ports? Or would they be water ports with actual sailing ships. And, there's always the option of fitting the two together.
For example: Say you were a swashbuckler, or what ever you call them, and you were at a port. Say you were at a water port, you got on your ship and started to sail. Since oceans don't expand forever over the whole world (as far as I know about the world XP) the ship would somehow take flight into the air when land was in sight, therefore being able to travel over land and water without the trouble of docking and traveling the rest of the way to wherever headed.
It may be a bit far fetched, but I just wanted to get a clear view of the fantasy-like technology.

Think of the flying ironclads as "Carriages" of the sky. Only nobles and the incredibly rich can afford them, this rules out most merchants and whatnot because they are insanely expensive to make and maintain.

Just a little tip for you. Maps are really nice. If you do not have one yet, I would really recommend getting one. I can do one, although it will be done in photoshop using shapes and maybe some textures. I would need a rough draft of the map though. As I am not the creator of this RP, and I really am not even a member I can't envision your world.
