I was browsing my local library the other day, and I came across this book. It has a few statements and little articles from different celebrities, but it is mostly full of tips to be more energy efficient and environmentally conscious. It is broken down into chapters dealing with different places, and each chapter is further broken down.

For example, chapter 1 is "Home." Within it, there are tips for in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, etc.

It's formatted very well, making it very easy to skim and read the tips without having to dig through a bunch of text to find them. If you can find it, I would suggest reading it. I've enjoyed it, and learned a few things that I did not know before.

Hmm...I've been wondering about it.
The problem I have with books like these is the fact that I seem to already know most of the tips, which really brings my excitement down.
So, out of the whole book, how much would you say was really new to you? I might get it if it's a high number.

Yeah, there are a lot of books out there that give tips on how you can be green. Some say more or less than others or say some things others don't, but in general they all say pretty much the same things. I'll have to agree with Wombat on this - anything in particular about this book stand out to you?

I suppose for tips there was nothing too out of the ordinary. There were some that I hadn't thought about or hadn't realized, but not necessarily an enormous amount.

One thing that it said, ironically, is to check books out from the library instead of buying them. I thought of that when Wombat spoke of maybe getting it.

What I really liked was the personal touch behind the tips. I liked reading the articles written by different people about the specific tips that they follow, and how that works for them, their lifestyle, and their family.
