Some people have donated gold to the guild. I don't know what to do with it. It's not my money, after all.
We could use it to fund some sort of competition, or we could return it to the donators. Or, we could use it to help fund the setting up of allied guilds that promote rational thought or the scientific method.
Or I could have it. For my years of dedicated service and all. biggrin

Well, they say that we can get benefits from it later, so we may want to wait for that.

Really? Do you mean, perhaps some sort of interest?
Perhaps the money could be used as some sort of guild war fund. That doesn't have much meaning for an abstract, interest -based guild like ours, but it would be kind of fun to attack evangelical or anti-scientific guilds en masse.

That does sound like fun. But a competition is also good. Maybe we could get people to write essays.
Wait a minute, that isn't sounding as fun as it did when it was just in my head...

Unfortunately the evangelical people seem to have a really big fan base to draw funds from, so I'm not sure such a war would go well. Then again, people on the internet may be more educated and rebellious than those not. Which only asks for more information, but still...

I'd be quite willing to donate some extra gold for this cause. to overcome of the large fanbases, you can simply go to the extended descussion forums, and ask people to join who seem to have strong anti-creationist beliefs. If we can get enough members, it should not be difficult at all to wage a guild war aginst them. twisted
