Why is there... a stick of dynamite...
There's a stick of dynamite in all of his comics. Sometimes it's on the front of someone's shirt, sometimes it's under someone's chair or in a painting or stickign out of a hat. It rarely has anything to do with the comic.

There's also a piece of pie, and a little alien eyeball looking up at God. Those are also often in his comics.
