Oh god, I absolutely hate dog slobber. It makes me gag, and being pawed at is not fun either. That is the most evil spell for me!!!!!

Spell (defense): felinato bestia mutatio

Transforms all conjured animals into lovable kittens. (I wouldn't mind being pawed at or licked by kittens. I'm a cat person.)

As the evil minions of drool charge at me from the tip of Diana's wand something very peculiar happens as my spell takes effect. A great "POP" sound echoes through the hall and the group of dogs explode in a shower of fur. As the haze clears all I can see is a tide of large glassy eyes, all staring up at me pleadingly, lovingly. I run over and get glomped by all the beautiful little darlings. They lick my face with their little dry tongues and purr into my face, nuzzle me and dig into my tummy and legs with their baby paws. SQUUEEEE!!!!! My spell worked. After this duel is over I am so adopting them!!

Spell (Attack): Engorgio

Effect: Causes objects to swell in size

Watches the Ghoul rolling in kittens. I'm a cat person, too! Aren't they cute? I am so adopting any you can't fit in!

Watches the enlarging spell heading towards her and uses the wizarding version of a matador spell
Defense: Deflecto!
Effect- bends a spell into what the defender focuses on, in this case a mini basket, if I do it right it will enlarge into a basket so some of the kittens can come home with me!

Yay! The spell works perfectly! My mini basket enlarges, complete with fuzzy blanket, nutritious shredded turkey and cream and 3 of the little darlings come running over and start purring and cuddling me. The Ghoul has plenty and from the smiles on both our faces, we're happy. Oh, right...we're still dueling. Umm....don't want to startle the kittens. How about:

Solaris! Really targeted, it will increase the solar energy around a person. If done too strongly, the target will get a nasty sunburn or go up in flames, but I have enough control, that this should just raise a sweat, and a nice comforting laziness, so you'll have just enough energy just to lay and sunbathe, and veg out like a southern californian, like ya know?

I was getting worried there. I am absolutely afraid of sunburn.

BACK TO THE DUEL!!! (Before I start to sweat too much- I might scare off Neville)

Penny shields her eyes from the gathering sunshine and lazy warmness, and casts her spell : tenuis congelo

translation/ effect: causes a slight freeze, in this case (if performed correctly) it will neutralize the warming effect of Diana's spell.

Argh!! My freezing spell seems to have done even more harm than just Diana's spell on its own. Something went horribly wrong and now I have freeze burns and sun burns as the two spells joined and started to attack me. I'm probably going to start peeling too T__T

Turns opponent into a hedgehog! (the spell wears off fairly quickly though)

Effect: prevents unwanted hair from taking root. Also used as a "wax on, wax off" hair removal charm when aimed skillfully at certain areas of the body.

Oh, I love the cat and basket too!
Ouch! A couple of prickles get in --I'm being prickled into submission!
With just 2 points left, and a basket of kitties to take home, I conceed!
