Ok everyone I have now assumed captaincy of this guild.

And not a lot will change, I liked how Giga ran this place.

I would like to take this oppertunity to ask you all to keep up the fight.
To stay vigilant against the creationists. Both here on Gaia, and out there in the real world.

Good luck, and happy hunting.

There seems to be to many of 'em, captain.
The creationist claims never seem to die; no matter how many times one answers them, there's always another creationist, packed to the brim with misconceptions.

Isn't there a better way? And what is it exactly that usually causes someone to become creationist?

Also, what happened to giga?

Behold! I have joined the merchant navy. Right now I'm using one of the computers at the Warsash Maritime Centre near Southampton. In a few weeks I'll be going away to sea... for a few months. I won't be able to use the internet then.

Crazy, huh?

Most creationists never seem to die out....they simply hide until we stop beating them up about it and restart their campaign to take over the world.

"Eternal vigilance is the price of intellectual freedom." ((To massacre a quote))

The cause of most creationists seem to be two fold.

1) A strict christian upbringing.
2) A lack of understanding of basic scientific principles and methods.

Little we can do about the former, but the latter we can try to correct.
