Reiya glanced behind him, not too sure of what he was going to do with the meat he had just carved up. He forcedly and quickly cut the knife into the counter so that it was stuck there firmly, then turned around to see what pot Cepheus had found.
"That'd do. Could you set it down on the stove? Please and thank you."
He rubbed hazel strands out of his eyes with his shoulder then picked up chunks of meat then plunked them into the pot. He looked at them, then looked at the burner and sighed, looking over at his beautiful blue eyed creature. Suddenly he wished that he be the food in about ten minutes - he knew it wasn't right and probably against the rules, but he wanted to touch those pink petal lips with his so badly.
"Know how to light a stove?"

((aw ur sweet, but yesterday my mind was set on this one manga story i read, Constellations in My Palm))
Cepheus awkwardly positioned the pot on the stove. He looked at the other, "Um, no, sorry." He didn't even know what he was doing in the first place, he was just following instructions as best as he could with little knowledge on cooking. He looked at the different knob-things on the stove. The text on them seemed foreign to him.

[[ sorry, I got caught up with life. . . Forced life. That no one likes. sweatdrop ]]
"Okay then."
He looked around for a moment then rinsed off his hands at the sink before throwing open a cupboard and pulling out different bottles of liquid. He did not know what they were called, but that never stopped him from using them. Plunking them down on the counter and offering them to Cepheus with a small wave of his hand, he said "You can pour these in the pot at any time. Doesn't matter how much or anything. . . I don't keep track anyhow. I'll fix it up - or try to, if something doesn't fit."
Then he looked at the knobs, turned one so that a flame lit up at once, then grabbed his spatula and began to move the chicken around in the pot so that it could fry properly.
This was probably the first time he was cooking for someone else. Not that others needed to know he cooked. It was a bit embarrassing since almost all of the men let the women cook, so the boys did not really know how. Cepheus hadn't said anything yet, so maybe he was simply being polite.
Reiya looked across at the boy, forgetting the chicken almost at once.
Someone must think I'm really twisted. Hell, I don't even think I'm right in the head. . . He'd look pretty in red though. Liquid or not. Maybe I should pour some ketsup on him!
Reiya's lips twitched upwards and he turned back to the pot, tilting his hair into his face in order to hide the smiling blush he had brought onto his face.

Cepheus blinked and poured the majority of the liquid from each bottle in the pot. He blinked at one of the liquids, staring at it as he held the bottle. Would it be okay if he...no he probably shouldn't. He looked at Reiya, subconciously admiring the other. His mind was blank as he stared at the other, and he didn't even notice as he brought the bottle to his lips and drank the remainder.
((idk wat the liquid would do to him cuz idk wat it is XD))

The chicken was sizzling away when the liquid mass was poured onto it. It sizzled louder and popped, splattering them with tiny hot drops.
"Ouw." Reiya rubbed the spot where the tiny drops had hit his arm, then looked up in time to see Cepheus drinking the last of the. . . plum sauce? Did they even have plum sauce. Well, appearantly they did, because Reiya gave the boy a disgusted, sympathetic look before rushing to get him a cup of water.
"Here, drink this. Don't try drinking those. . . stuff. And you can take what you want, look around. Anything. It doesn't bother anyone much," He said kindly, then added to himself. "Or it darn well shouldn't."
The chicken was ready a few minutes later, and Reiya had lazily retrieved already cooked rice, plates and another cup while they were waiting. He paused once, to run his fingers through Cepheus' hair in a slow way so that Cepheus was sure he wouldn't hurt him. After that display with his temper and his mother, he wouldn't put it past the poor boy to be wary of him.
He check the meat the removed it from the heat, dishing it out on the plates.
"Time to eat."

Cepheus blinked when the other quickly handed him a cup of water. He put down the bottle and took the cup, "Was that stuff bad for me or something? It tasted pretty good to me." ((XDXDXDXD)) Cepheus drank the water as told, putting the empty cup on the table. He smiled when he felt the other's hands run through his hair. He always found that quite relaxing and soothing.
Cepheus nodded and sat down at a seat.

"It's supposed to taste good. Eaten with food little by little. But that looked disgusting," Reiya stated. "If your thirsty, help yourself to something - other than the bottles."
The boy served the chicken and rice, pouring some more water for them both before leading the way to the table. It was outside under the roof, but it looked like an extended porch or something to that effect. He sat down at a seat, indicating that Cepheus could do as he liked - sit, stand, walk around and eat.
"Hopefully this tastes good. Enjoy your meal Ceph."
The fork felt strange in his fingers since he had been eating finger foods for the last few days, but the food was good. At least he hadn't burned it this time.

((i want Cepheus to have the weirdest taste for foods and drinks XD))
Cepheus stood up again, following the other outside. He sat down at a seat right next to the other. He looked at how the other was eating and tried to imitate it.
((omfg im hungry, i just remembered i only had breakfast and its almost 6PM D smile )
He smiled and, after swallowing, stated, "This is really good!" He went back to eating, a smile on his face. He didn't even glance at the water as he was entranced by the taste of the chicken and rice. He kept eating fast, hardly chewing his food. He shoved a piece of chicken down his throat and chewed it a bit quickly before trying to swallow it. He wasn't sure why it happened but the chicken wouldn't go all the way through, leaving him gasping with the few spaces open for air circulation.

Reiya stopped eating, staring at Cepheus wolf his food down.
"Hey, careful you don't choke," He said at last, his eyes not leaving the boy for more than a few seconds as he took another mouthful. He chewed and swallowed as he looked on curiously while Cepheus gasped for air.
"You must be real hungry. There's more in the kitchen if you want some. You're free to it."
His tone was hesitant since the boy looked as if he might stop breathing soon enough. He reached over and picked up the other's water, handing it to him.
"Here, drink something."

Cepheus took the water and chugged it down before coughing a few times. It was a scary feeling, a sort of claustrophobic feeling, feeling like he was running out of air by the second. A frown slipped on his face as the frightened feeling remained, but he didn't say a word about it; he wasn't really sure what to say. He began eating slowly, trying to make sure he actually chewed. He never had almost choked before, so he really felt like he was about to die when it happened.

Reiya pause, food on his half raised fork, watching Cepheus carefully as the boy frown and slowly continued to eat. His eyebrows came together momentarily in undecided emotion before he also continued.
"You're okay right? Don't go dying now."
His plate was cleared a minute after, so he sat back and sipped on his water, waiting politely for Ceph to finish before he quietly suggested they take a walk.

Cepheus finished his food and nodded, "Sure." He may have felt somewhat traumatized, but it was hard to remain on the depressing thought so long as Reiya was around. He stood up, leaving his plate and chair the way they were and stepped away from them, looking at Reiya.
