Now, any of you who lurk the GCD forums probably have noticed the increase of threads made by "raiders". How they think Gaia has brought the attacks on themself and this whole thing could have been avoided. The thing is, these raiders aren't even from 4-chan. They're from the smaller "chan" groups who don't have the amount of people 4-chan does. I know this because I have friend in real life who are 4-channers who say that 4-chan has a no-gaia raid rule. Mainly because Gaia is so big server wise that they can't do any damage on a wide scale.
So, the smaller chans have taken up arms against Gaia because of the meme items and because 4-chan doesn't want to be bothered with it. Now, so far all the smaller channers have been able to do is the threads that log you out and steal your password when you try to log back in and the password protected images. Right now, the senior Gaians and the Gaians who know what their doing don't fall for these anymore. Yet, the raiders are flooding the GCD with threads predicting Gaia's downfall. It's getting old! It's not even like they're doing it in the name of "lulz" anymore. They're doing it because of revenge.
Has anyone else noticed this?

I tend to stay out of the thread these days for that reason. >< I feel bad for the gaians who aren't a part of guilds because of the spamming.

I have a tendency to get pissed off at all the GCD'ers, so I have stopped wandering into those forums.
I think, essentially, that it is rather ridiculous.
People are stupid, damnit.

They have to have SOMETHING to do when they're not masturbating or making racist photoshops.
Seriously, the chans are lame... though, I tend not to enjoy the forums much anyway, whether they're there or not.
I wonder when they're going to realize how much cross-pollination the chans and Gaia have... and that these raids only encourage it.

At least we're holding our own to these "raiders." Normally whole sites would be shut down as a result of these raids [Subeta and Habbo, at least for a while].
But maybe it's because the chans find these raids stupid as well. wink
|

Raiders=Smaller chans. 4-chan just thinks it's stupid, because it's not for "lulz".

I went to 4-chan its a lot like Gaia's GD... But yea I don't get the whole hostility raiding crap...

...I saw my first raid image wall. I laughed at the attempt to scar me at first, but... then I saw a picture of a dead baby in a trash can.... That... that was hard for me.
