Chess... well that's certainly interesting. And why those specific chess pieces, a white queen and a red pawn? (I think that's what they are, I'm not very knowledgeable about chess.)
My only problem is that the book won't be out until August (I think) by which time I will have moved - from the US to New Zealand. I wonder if it will come out at the same time in NZ? I will be beyond furious if it doesn't. I guess I can just get someone to send it to me, but that would be expensive...

I’m convinced its real…It’s the same layout of the Eclipse poster when it came out for the Special Edition of New Moon
So, now that I’m convinced, I’m gonna make two points of what the paragraph maybe means. ((Read it. Read it again and again. and then THINK!))
First, I’m convinced it is Edward. The repetition of the word, forever can kinda only point to Edward.
Second. The whole vibe of this snippet of dialogue is making me think this is happening moments Bella is getting ready for the bite of fate.
“Don’t be afraid” “We belong together”
Those words in that particular order, has me convinced.
They whole romantic, "This moment was so perfect, so right" Has me convinced!
But, I could be wrong. I could be reading into it a bit much...Now that I think about it...
This snippet could be moments before they tell Charlie about the engagement. (That's what they were planning to do at the end of Eclipse, right?)

Yep. The cover has just been released officially for Breaking Dawn and it does have the queen and pawn piece on the front. Personally, I think the cover is okay, but I'm worried about what the chess pieces could symbolize for the story. I can't wait until the novel is finally released though. It seems lately that's all I've been thinking about xd

I'd laugh my head off. Of course I'd be disappointed that the whole EdwardxBella pairing didn't work out, but to see the riot it would cause...O-O How amusing!

I'm certainly not digging the new Breaking Dawn cover. It. . . looks odd. I understand where Stephenie Meyer is trying to point out. . . but chess? It looks very odd. I'm not satisfied. I just hope the whole book [story] makes me happy. . . :]

I guess by now people may already know what the cover means but i'm going to say it anyway...
The chess pieces represent Bella and the show how she went from "being the weakest player on the board" (pawn) to "the strongest player on the board" (queen)
