Angel-of-Bloody-Midnight Zoey trotted through the brackish undergrowth that surrounded the familiar grounds. The little mutt had seen worse places but at least this one served some solitude to her thoughts. She was new to this place, and yet... it was comforting to know there was nothing at least near her that could hurt her intentionally. Raiu-Chan Kitanai padded alone as he looked around the new area he was in. Of course, he thought his father was going to join him with the night walk. Then again, his parents and other sibling has fallen asleep and he is the only one awake. He looked around once again to make sure the new area was some what safe. The little Aussie puppy didn't know where to go at such a time like this, it was dark and his little eyes would barely let him see what is in front of him. A small yawn came from the puppy as his tail wiggled. Sitting there like he was waiting for something to happen. Angel-of-Bloody-Midnight A loud yelp sounded from the bushes and a small brown and cream-colored mutt of a puppy came tumbling out onto the ground. Zoey laid sprawled out helter-skelter upon it, dazed from her sudden fall. Raiu-Chan Kitanai's ears started to twitch after hearing a loud yelp from the distance. It didn't sound like a male so he thought that some girl was in trouble. And he knew that girls always get in some kind of danger. He stretched rather quickly and looked around the area. Looking up and down and around a corner of a building. See a small cream and brown mutt on the ground. His senses told him to see if she was okay, since she looked rather weak. Padding slowly to the female he looked down at her, ears folded back. "E-Excuse me.. But are you okay?" He said softly, trying not to show any fear in front of the female. He had no idea what to do next, wishing someone older was here. Angel-of-Bloody-Midnight Zoey blinked her eyes, clearing them of the haze that had fallen with her. She looked up at the sound of a voice, somewhat befuddled. "S-So dizzy...that's all." She said in a quiet whisper of a voice. She felt a smile cross her brown-furred face. "I'm not hurt, if that's what you were wondering. I just tripped over a tree stump." She was embarrassed about that little part, but found it oddly funny at the same time. Raiu-Chan Kitanai backed away from the mutt pup and frowned. "Are you sure? It sounded like you tripped rather hard.." He said as he tried not to stare to hard down on the puppy. His small frown turned into a smile. A faint smile at most, he didn't know what to think of this at all. She was all alone, no one was even with her, for all he knew, someone could have puppy-napped her. Maybe he was thinking about it to much, he is mostly known for worrying about ever little thing..

Angel-of-Bloody-Midnight Zoey tilted her head to the side, her eyes focusing on the pup before her. He couldn't be much older than she was. "I'm fine, I promise." She said, standing slowly onto her paws. She shook herself leisurely, shaking away the dull aches of her fall. She fixed her gaze back on him. "I'm Zoey, and who are you?" She asked quizzically. Raiu-Chan Kitanai smiled at the female before him. "Its nice to meet you Zoey.. I'm Kitanai.. Strange name since it stands for dirty.. But I'm really clean.." He whispered softly, looking away when he was speaking in his low, but peaceful. His rusty fur color blew in the soft wind that went pass them. Hearing a small grumble from under his head. He looked down at his growling stomach. Forgetting that he didn't ate dinner tonight. Thinking that he should stop by a meat store on his way home. "So do you live with anyone? Or do you live out here?" He didn't want to sound rude, but he was curious. Angel-of-Bloody-Midnight Zoey laughed softly, but her eyes shone with an indignant light. "I'm not a stray, I have an owner...but she's.....not home right now..." She muttered with a silent sigh. "I wander outside a lot. How better to pass the time?" She asked. "And what brings such a rustic-colored dog as you out here?" Raiu-Chan Kitanai pounded his tail into the ground rather hard as he taught while the female mutt spoke.. "Well.. I would probably come out here with my sister or dad.. But they are sleep.. And I couldn't really rest.. So I'm stuck out here doing whatever I can find entertaining.." He sighed slightly. Looking away from Zoey again. His stomach still growled. "Though.. I came out here to eat something.. I go by this meat place.. And since they know me so well.. They give me some meat.." He whispered with a sheepish grin. Angel-of-Bloody-Midnight "And you stopped because you heard me?" Zoey questioned lightly. She lived up to the meaning of her name, "Life". "You didn't have to do that." A light smile creased her muzzle. She wasn't used to such attention. Where she had been before, it was the strongest survived, or not at all. She remembered her littermates only briefly, but she would never forget the struggle to thrive and survive under desolate conditions. Raiu-Chan A chuckle came from the puppy's mouth. "Well of course I stopped.. I couldn't just kept walking like I didn't hear anything.. If I did, that would have been rude.." He paused. "And I wanted to.. Thats just how I am.. I worry about everyone.." He added. His voice still at a peaceful tone. Maybe she didn't like him stopping to see if she was okay. But what if he didn't? He couldn't have met the puppy. And he doesn't even have any friends, so she could be his first. Which made him rather happy, that he went out tonight. His stomach growled louder though, "Do you wanna get something to eat?" He asked her, since it was the only thing he could think of.

Angel-of-Bloody-Midnight Zoey's eyes widened briefly, questions in her eyes. But her gaze warmed and softened. "You really mean I can come?" She said, her tone jittery with an idealistic puppy stammer. She was thrilled with not being alone. Was it not like a puppy to not want company? Raiu-Chan Kitanai nodded with a semi bright smile. "Well yeah.. I mean.. Unless you want to stay here.. I don't like wondering around here all alone.. Especially since its night time and all.." He whispered softly. His body leaned to the side a bit. His hunger was increasing as he waited for the female to answer. He wasn't going to rush her. But she should know from how loud his stomach is growling, that he is almost starving himself, just to wait to hear her answer. He straighten himself again and stretched. Angel-of-Bloody-Midnight Zoey's tail wagged viciously. "Yes, please!" She said, her teeth bared in the biggest smile she could muster. She truly was thrilled at the thought of being someone's company. Perhaps he would be her friend... Her first friend. The prospect of that made her feel warm and wanted for the second time in her so far short life. Raiu-Chan Kitanai smiled at Zoey, seeing some certain glow in her face. Like she was happy that someone was being around her. Was she always alone? He didn't want to ask. But he stretched. "Shall we go then?" He said as he made his away out of the park. The trees moved with the light wind. Knocking the small puppy over and shook his head. "I'm okay.." He said softly, a bit embarrassed, hoping that she didn't see anything. All he wanted to do was eat so his stomach could stop growling at him. Angel-of-Bloody-Midnight The light brown mutt of a pup smiled at the darker boy who walked next to her. She couldn't help but titter silently. He was as easily embarrassed as she was about little things. And undoubtedly, she heard his stomach. "That sounds like a pack of wild dogs on the hunt." She said with a sarcastic voice. "I fear an attack from them!" Raiu-Chan Kitanai looks down at his stomach, hearing it again. "Well.. If I didn't skip dinner.. It probably wouldn't sound like this.." He said softly.. "But.. I do have a bit of a wild dog in me.." He said as he pretended to be a mean wild dog, trying to attack Zoey. He wanted to laugh so bad, but he wanted to scare Zoey for the heck of it. It would be fun to do so. As long she doesn't get mad at him in the end of course. Angel-of-Bloody-Midnight Zoey yelped, her eyes wide with surprise. Her ears lay back as she stared at Kitanai with something akin to fright and fascination. "R-Really?" She stammered, surprise getting the best of her. For being a brave pup in act, she really did scare easy. Raiu-Chan Kitanai chuckled and stopped his 'wild dog' act. "Not silly.. I'm not sure what I am really.. I think I'm some mix.. But it doesn't matter.. I like myself the way I am.." He said softly. He started to pad off and looked behind him. Seeing if Zoey was following. "Come on! Before the shop closes and we both be starving.. Well.. I will anyway.." He said with a sheepish grin after a small chuckle to himself. It gotten darker as the street lights has gotten a bit brighter from a couple of minutes ago.

Angel-of-Bloody-Midnight Zoey paused for a moment, truly shaken, but a grin soon crossed her muzzle. She rushed after the rust-colored "wild dog" before she pounced, tapping his hind leg gently before rushing in front of him. Her laughter was clear and crisp in the silence, and it felt wonderful to laugh. She couldn't remember the last time she had been as happy as she was now. Raiu-Chan Kitanai was stunned by the female's happiness. Like this is her first time with everything. Of course, this is his first time going out alone and meeting his new friend. Also his first time going to the meat store without his father. He knew the way since it was next door. He stayed close to Zoey so she doesn't run off. "You have to be careful.. So we don't get separated.. Since it could happen.." He whispered. The night wind gotten cooler, making him shiver just a bit. But he knew he could make it. Angel-of-Bloody-Midnight Zoey slowed her steps, until she trotted next to Kitanai. "Alright." She said with a quick smile. "The meat store has food, I would guess?" She asked, truly ignorant. She hadn't really been into such a clean town before now, and it was wonderfully strange and fascinating. If she could, she would badger him with questions, but her thoughts concluded that that would be rude.
A yawning voice broke the otherwise silent surroundings. "You're careless, Zoey... I said to wait for me!" A cream-white Siamese jumped from the top of a fence down onto the ground, her tail twitching as she padded over toward the two canines. Raiu-Chan Kitanai nodded to Zoey's question.. "Well of course they have food silly.. Or it wouldn't be called a meat store. We have to hurry though.. The moon seems to be getting bigger as the night continues to come.." He said, having no idea what he just said. Hearing another voice, he looked around and behind Zoey, seeing a feline with a cream colored coat. His head tilted to the side. He hasn't seen a cat be so close to a dog before.
