okay whats with the skittles craze?
I really dont understand, theyve existed for many years... why all of a sudden are they such a big deal?
Im more of a reeses peices man myself. (And i do mean the small peanut butter filled candies in the box, not the peanut butter covered in chocolate. Those are Reeses peanut butter cups, and confusing the two should be punishable by death from paper cuts.)

Lol nice choice of death.
But idk man. I love skittles and have for a long time(since like i was 5 or something) but I think chocolate skittles are garbage and disgrace skittles everywhere.
I dont understand the hype on skittles either, there is alot of better things out there such as Toblerone bars(best existing chocolate in the world, if you dont think so then IDC and if you dont know what they are then you have been deprived of live itself.) mrgreen

 It's not a matter of sudden interest, it's a lack of attention on your part. Skittles have been huge for years, far longer than I've been able to remember them, at least(Which is before the internetz, homg is there such a thing!?).
And in specific, the thread-side skittles "craze" is about those sour ones, not skittles in general.

Yeah, Nawxsh is right.
They've been popular for years & I haven't seen them get any more popular lately.
Maybe it's just in your area of something, but I never hear about Skittles anymore where I live.

I think people just act like they looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove skittles just so they can get attention.
I prefer Reese's pieces.
And mentos. With coke.

But, my dad eats skittles by the big bags. And I mean a sick amount of them. Skittles are alright, especially the sour ones, but Pez>them.

Once again i am sorely misunderstood. You see i have noticed no increase in skittle popularity either... except on gaia.
Like cmon
-Theres new items based on skittles
-theres posts about them everywhere
-there was that one guy in the wallpaper thread (o;course he could just REALLY want a seizure)
-Plus they have their own forum in lifestyle discussion...
Now, i ask how can you deny me?

My word, be blunt for once, Lol. Vagueness is cute and all, but it gets annoying after a while.
Also, I don't waste my time on gaia that much anymore, so I don't pay attention to such inconsequential things.

Reese's Pieces own my soul.
The 'skittles craze' on Gaia is for the most part, IMO, because of the promontional thing Gaia did with them recently.

I like Reese's but only when I take a small bite out of it. I don't like eating things that are too sweet.
As for chocolate skittles...eew. It may or may not taste good--I wouldn't know. But what I do know is that I'm never going to try it...err...unless if I can get a new car from doing so.

I still don't quite understand.
There are new items based on Skittles because they're a sponsor?
Though, I assume that's very very obvious.
They're just trying to advertise the new chocolate skittles.
I wouldn't have known about the chocolate ones if it wasn't for Gaia.
