Oh yeah!
Well, here in my town there's this local wildlife park deal something of a rather that's hosting this event called "Earthfest" on April 19th (this Saturday).
Supposed to be all sorts of...stuff.
Oh yeah, school's environmental club is volunteering too, we gots T-shirts.

I got a T-shirt for volunteering at a tree planting on Earth Day last year. This year I'm doing the same (only it might include some invasive species removal also, which is always really hard gonk ) but with a different, smaller organization. I probably won't get a T-shirt even though I'll be working for more hours. crying
But they're holding an Earth Day festival like your Earthfest right after the planting/removal, also with all sorts of stuff. I'm not too sure on the details, exactly, but I know that there will be free food. xd
Ah well. This will all be on Saturday, though...It seems really weird that Earth Day is on a Tuesday this year (was it on a Monday last year? :S I used to think it was always on a Saturday). I wouldn't be able to do anything due to school and projects and crap. D:<

Happy Earth Day everyone!
I wasn't able to do nearly as many things as I would have liked. It is rather sad that it occurred on Tuesday. With school and theatre I just couldn't get in everything. But that just means I'll have to do it when I have chance this week. 4laugh
I did, however, go to my school's office to ask about clubs and will hopefully now have an environmental club going on starting in the fall semester.

h a p p y e a r t h d a y I'm glad to hear that you're being very proactive, spirit! It always makes my day when I know that someone is actually acting on his/her concern for the environment. Happy Earth day!
today I only bought food from places that only use environmentally friendly biodegradable food take out packaging, and reused a water bottle.
bought a used book from a thrift store.
GO GREEN!! mrgreen

I know I should have posted this then but I was on the mall in front of the capital on earth day with my electric car, I also was able to see Edward Norton speak at the green apple festival. it was much fun except for all the rain.
