ok basically we have screwed are selves cause if we stop polluting the earth might heat up and melt everything or it will cool down and ice age so really even with no pollution we are screwed and with it destruction of the o-zone layer which stops UV rays coming from the sun to the earth which heats the area and can give birth defects like skin cancer and the huge gap in the o-zone layer is at the north pole so really all we can try to do is try to rebuild the o-zone layer and then slows down the warming the earth and don't forget the waste a regular person produces

I hope that they find a way to solve the problem before it gets worse over time. Global Warming is a very serious thing going on today, the planet is practicaly dying because of what the Industrial Revolution had brought, sure it brought computers and i-pods and the high-tech phones and crap but it has also brought a horrible consequence with it. GREENHOUSE GASSES. The good thing is is the world knows what's going on and that everyone is trying to find better alternatives for things like energy, well mainly energy. The Hybrid cars do a little good, i guess the Natural Gas thing kind of helps but only be cause it puts in half as much as carbon dioxide in the atmosphere as oil does. But it's not enough. If I've heard right, they're two main polluters in the world, China and the U.S. that's because so many people are there and so many drive cars. If you look out a window weather it is in your home or at work or at school, you will ALLWAYS find a car.

Technically, it's not global warming. The appropriate term would be climate change, and yes, it is happening and all we can do is try to stop it from getting worse. lt's already there, but there's a chance that we can slow it down.

There is a lot of evidence leading to global warming being real (e.g.: Rising sea levels, melting glaciers, rising/falling temperatures)

I believe in global warming to an extent, but I think people are blowing it way out of proportion. There is this global warming thing that happens naturally every year. It's called summer. The earth's temperatures do fluctuate over time, but that doesn't mean we're all gonna die. I do believe that pollution is harmful to the ozone, but people are too dumb and lazy to stop polluting, so it doesn't really matter... anyway, I don't think the earth is gonna explode because of it anytime in the near future.
And another thing. This big "green" craze lately? What's up with that? They FINALLY realized that they need to stop screwing up the earth? I don't think so. People are just using it as a fad instead of taking it seriously. "Look at me, carrying my canvas shopping bag. I'm 'green', so I'm cool!" It kinda ticks me off that people are just now noticing what's going on around them.
