Personality(in short): Well most importantly Cannon is Bipolar. To the point that he has two three personalities. one of whichis assumably the person he'd like to be.
First of all, Cannon likes to be refered to as Candy, everyone seems to do so anyways. He is smiley, goofy, clingy, and affectionte.As a cat would nuzzle its master day in and day out, Candy treatshis friends with the same affection. It is quite apparent that Candyhas never been in a real relationship. He seems to not understand thathis actions are sometimes frowned upon. All he knows, is his instinct to mate and cling and love. He comes off as innapropriate or promiscuous. Cannon/Candy is easily aroused, and tends to view sexual activities as a neccesity for him. Almost like a drug that he needs to sustain him. He finds the most pleasure in allowing the other to take their pleasure from him, whether sweetly or with vicious force. And although he protests and says 'no' a lot, it is only something that adds to the excitement in him. Candy also tends to love quite easily, finding no reason not to like anyone right away. He wants everyone to be happy. He is easily angered, though, in which his mood might switch to Cain.
History: Cannon lived in a family where they openly accepted that he was gay. And so he never really suffered any type of abandonment or judgement. This changed, however, when he was raped by his High School professor and brainwashed into thinking that he not only wanted it, but craved it. Over Cannon's senior year in highschool, had become something of a sexslave to this man, both hating, and deeply loving him. This is still in effect today, as Cannon seems to still think that sex is a neccesity, and a need for him, often going into moods of withdrawl if he does not get regular sexual contact. After he graduated, the professor he loved and was devoted to, vanished, never contacting him again. Cannon went into a fit of anxiety and depression, for months. He suffered from frequent fainting and rarely went outside. Until, one day he snapped, and thusly Cain appeared. With the help of Cain, he was able to feed off of the lust of others in order to ease his own need for contact, even if Cain had sometimes done things that would be considered whorish. Afterwhich Cannon's life seemed to righten itself. He seeks friendships and proper relationships with people, all the while keeping a steady flow of sexual contact at the same time, tending to ease toward older men, subconsiously attempting to fill the gap of need that the nameless Professor had set upon his vulnerable mind. The Professor, it seems, has been forgotted by Cannon though, a blank in his mind, no doubt caused by Cain.
Information on Cain, "Sour Candy"
Cain is the alternate personality that he has created in order to do the things he never could normally. While Candy is shy and timid from time to time, Cain says what he wants, when he wants, to whoever he wants. Cain is blunt, angry, greedy and very seme. His eyes are more slanted than Cannons, a sign to detect which personality Candy is in. Cain doesn't seem to like anyone dearly, and only strives to fulfill his lust. While Cain is fully aware of Cannon, neither personality seems to be bothered by the other. And thusly live in a sort of...harmony.
However, Cain is bent on hurting his host, Candy. He frequently haunts his dreams and often speaks in his mind when Candy is too comfortable with his life. He inserts depression into the boy, and often makes him feel unwanted, so he can never get close to anyone. No one knows why Cain does this, he just does. He has a special dislike towards the man Rem(Rje), who he knows for a fact has got Candy in a tizzy. Seeing Candy's affection towards him, infuriates him. So he's been trying his best to break that apart.
Also, Cain is capable of blocking Candy's memory at will. He's done this with The Professor, since Cannon was near death, But he could always do it again. He's just waiting for a good reason to.......
Information on Lust, "Special Candy":
When Cannon gets into his moods of Special Candy, symbolized with Shackles and the lack of clothing, this is usually a mixture of both Sweet and Sour. Being that Candy gets overly sexual, but in a obsessively clingy way. Needing it, Craving it. This is the special mood that he developed from being brainwashed by his Professor that he wanted and needed sexual contact. Without this mood Candy goes into withdrawl of extreme anxiety and depression, or irritability to a max. During Special Candy, Candy openly desires his elict fetishes, be it shackles and chains, or an extreme degree of roughness. It seems his Lust is on high during this time, and is usually uncontrolable, even so far as demanding it.
Candy is, at times, very ashamed of this mood.
