The demon blinked ( stare ) at him, kind of carrying Dwayne like a princess now because of the hug.
"That's a little... wrong.." he mumbled, continuing out of the city.
Dom hugged her jacket closer to her body, wishing she had put on pants instead of shorts, and maybe shoes would have been nice. But all she could think of was helping Dwayne. A sudden chill went through her,
Dear God, please don't hurt him...

Dwayne held tighter and moved around "No Dom don't give Edward the beans! His farts stink!!!" He buried his face into the demons shoulder. "Please have mercy on us all... Don't eat the beans Ed!"

The demon coughed, biting on his lip to hide a smile. The kid was pretty cute.
Dom stopped again, now on the roof of an abandoned building. She had heard Dwayne's voice again. She sucked in a deep breath and with all her voice she shouted his name. She figured the demon would have knocked him out, waking him up would be a good idea.

Dwayne heard Dom's voice and then struggled "Nooosssss Dom I'm sorry Don't make me eat those things! I'm sorry I made fun of your hair I won't do it again!" He mumbled a few other weird words that didn't make sense. "You burnt them..." He whimpered "My muffins..."

The demon stopped, he recognized the voice of the girl. Trailing back about a mile, he easily spotted her red hair in the dark. He dropped behind her, letting Dwayne fall on the rooftop, hard. "Hello, dear." he smiled.
Dom froze, glancing over her shoulder, she shuddered.
This isn't good...

Dwayne awoke in pain. "Ow ow ow ow" He opened his eyes slowly. His vision being quite blurred. "Dom?" He forced out. "Get away..." He tried moving but from the fall he must have broke something. Would this affect him if he changed? He figured he'd try it anyways. He shifted into a tiger instead of his usual rabbit. And made his way to Dom's side. One of his arms were broken. So in a tiger form he was only able to run on three legs. Once by Dom's side he shifted back into his human form. "Leave Dom alone!"

"And if I don't want to?" he asked, smiling sweetly.
"Who are you?!" Dom screamed, hiding the wounded Dwayne behind her.
"Oh, how rude... I am Daryhin. Here to take you away, princess." he held out one long fingered hand, using his magic to summon the young girl to him.

Dwayne looked from Dom to the guy named Daryhin and let out a small growl "Vance is gunna kill you..." It was all he could say at the moment. He looked at Dom and was shaking a little. "Dom... Don't go!"
Vance woke up and looked around not seeing Dom near him. "Where'd she go this time..." He rolled out of bed and stood up getting dressed in a matter of minutes. He began making his usual walk around the house. At least until an unfamiliar scent caught him after passing Dwayne's room. He opened it noting he wasn't there... Dom's scent was there as well but gone. Without thinking much about it he jumped out the window and followed where she had been just a while earlier. "I hope she's not getting into any trouble...."

Dom growled, baring her fangs, putting a protective arm between Darhyin and Dwyane.
"Stay away from him, Dwayne... he's an ice demon..."
"My, my, princess, how perceptive... I'm not too surprised, you've probably caught the scent."
She spat at him, barely missing his beautiful pale face.
"It's disgusting too!"

A soft light fell through the curtains. Edward awoke, the light had reached the bed. Since he's a half vampire, the sun doesn't affect him.
Edward blinked, remembering where he was.
In Caine's room, sleeping with him, in his bed. The previous flashed through Edward's mind. During the night, Caine had shifted and his head now rested on Edward's chest, his legs wrapped around one of Edward's.
Chuckling softly, Edward kissed Caine's forehead. He wondered what time Caine usually got up..
