Yes, it would be very helpful, as anime is hard to get where I live. |

I am not sure, I would have to see exactly how this system would work. |

Kiramiko One question popped into my head when I read the topic title: What if the download is interupted? I would be pissed if I shelled out virtual cash for a download that faults in the middle of downloading... ...like...uber pissed. that and I would be worried about loseing the anime when my computer crashs.

No... I might buy a fansubbed DVD off of Ebay or some such place... but I don't think I'd ever pay to download anime.
This applies though it is not downloading fansubs. I'm just going to be a lot more carefull where my hard earned cash is going.
You see, I've recently had a bad experience with 'Direct Manga'... I signed up for their manga total subcription... However, when I wanted to end it, they ignored my queries as to how to cancel. I searched *everywhere* on the site... even nothing in the FAQ. I'm sure it was left out on purpose.
On the one oppotunity that I did get a reply, it was oneline and completely useless. Oh, this person felt it was alright to use a '2' instead of the two-letter word 'to' in the reply to my sufficiently detailed explaination as to my problem.
No, I'm playing it safe.
OH, but I managed to find Stoptazmo.com. The best direct manga download site. I reccomend it to all who may fime themselves here!

No. I use a majority of my computer space for other things... I usually delete fansub episodes after watching them because they take up too much space. I'd rather buy the DVDs and watch it on a nice, cozy television screen from my bed than at my computer chair.

I don't really like the thought of downloading...I'd feel like I'm cheating or something.

It depends on the price, i dont like downloading , i see it as stealing from the creators.

it largely depends on the system for me. issues others have mentioned, such as price, file corruption/download interruption, etc are important. however, i also like to have the physicalness of the dvd and case. i think the extra art on the cover of the dvd case, the booklet/pamphlet that sometimes comes with dvds, and even the disc itself are nice things to look at and are worth the extra money. plus the fact that buying a dvd is more episodes at once, rather than waiting quite a while for an episode to download.
