I connect with Eponine's character. We both have a male friendship that has lasted a long time but he doesn't love us the way we love him.

Congratulations, you're Jean Valjean. You're the main character of Les Miserables. You were in prison 19 years for stealing a loaf of bread. Ouch. Then you stole silver from a bishop who lied to keep you from going back to prison. This turned you into a nice guy. When you saved Fantine from going to prison, you said you'd bring her her daughter. Sadly, Fantine died, but that didn't keep you from adopting her daughter anyways. Like most of the other characters, you are dead by the end of the novel.

I most relate to Cosette with the whole forbidden romance thing at the moment. A guy from across the tracks she hardly knows, instant mutual infatuation that heats to love. Keeping it a secret because of the fear of disapproval. Longing for the day they can be together. *Sigh* Yeah.....whew.. whee heart
