Without time to react, she went down with a light oof escaping her maw. When she looked up to regain her barrings she saw just who was on her. Looks like she had been caught. Though she had to admit, she was rather intimidated by how Baal was and well flushed with how close they were. "I...well....um..."

He loomed over her, paws holding her down and jaws around her neck, their hold firm enough to be threatening, but not harming. He was victorious. His prey was down, all his. He growled around her, all dominance. As a cub his sisters had been the ones to pin him more often than not with their more vicious personalities. This time, we was the conquerer.

There was something about all this that sent frightening chills through her. Perhaps it was how his jaws were around her neck or perhaps it was the growl, yet at the same time it attracted her all the more. This was the power he had and so she knew she would forever be safe with him. Well she ought to get up now shouldn't she? Assuming Baal would move away, her body tensed as she tried to push her way upward.

He held her down for a moment longer before letting her go and stepping back so that she could get up. His demeanor was back to normal, no longer the hunter. He did not seem worried that he might've hurt her, though grey eyes watched her as she stood.

For a brief moment she froze. After all he was still holding her down. Was he going to...no. He wouldn't care for her all this time just to suddenly attack her. When he back away, she stood and shook herself free of the dirt she gained from her fall. "For a minute there I started to worry. Your not used to being the victor are you?"

His ears flattened back. "Not normally, no. Not to anything bigger than a gazelle." He motioned for her to follow. "Come, let's make our way back to the lighter parts of the forest. Though nothing I have grown may harm you, one can still stumble into thorn bushes and the like."

She noted how his ears flattened and smiled lightly. "Don't feel bad. I've never had the chance to get as far as I did with you. Well, theres a first time for everything." Nodding, she followed behind him as he ventured away from the darker part of the forest.
