i have been playing tuba for 5 years and am only in eight grade and i love it, my band director was in a profesional band and he says tht my quality is as good as a profesional tuba player

Ive played tuba for about 2 years now and im the only girl sousa in my school right now- there's a middle schooler who will be there when im a senior... but for now im the only girl. TUBA PRIDE ALL THE WAY BABY! (sousas too!) lol. rofl biggrin

A tuba mouthpeice wieghs more than a lot of stuff. It's a weapon in it's own right!
Woot, we have three tuba palyers at our school this year, and all three of us are girls! Female power!
it's kind of an in-joke that the Sousaphone weighs 45 lbs, and our freshman player weighs 90.

I've been playing tuba for a few months now.Switched this year from trumpet(3years)It was a preety cool switch because it was so unexpected. Our freshman band only had one low brass player who is a baritone so I raised my hand when he asked for volunteers. It has been the best few months in band ever! I learned to play bass clef in 2 days and I'm already playing at the leel of the rest of the band. Go tubas!!!!!
