 BATTERED CHOCOLATE to your eating vocab?
OK OK, I know EURGH right? , WRONG BEE-BEEP
But honestly - don't knock it until you have tried this gooey chocolaty yummyness.. and if you still dont like it - poor you but huzzah for you trying new things right, RIGHT ?!!
Ok. First to make the batter.
Get a small mixing bowl and a whisk!
You need..
1 Egg.
PLAIN Flour.
Icing Sugar and .. Milk
Break the egg into the bowl and add enough flour to make it into a thick messy paste.
add trickles of milk until its thick but more liquid like.. The thicker the batter the better really..
Then add some icing sugar for sweetness - i noticed the batter gets slightly more runny upon adding this!
If you have made the batter too thin - add more flour and if its too thick add some drops of milk, until you get a good consistency..
Get some chocolate - Milk is all i have tried so I would start off with this! Break it up into its squares and then dip in batter.
All while mixing your batter i suggest getting a pan of oil and heating it. You want it rather HOT.. so to test the heat of it flick a small amount of batter in..
If the batter rises straight away - your oil is indeed hot enough.
Then drop the chocolate battered tastys into the hot oil and they will take a second to rise. IF your oil is hot enough, of course.
Make sure you have a spoon with holes in or something to take them out and drain the oil.. As they only take seconds to cook..
It is advisable to do this with a friend so ones hands can get messy and the other can be taking out the battered chocolate.
I would place them onto a bowl lined with kitchen paper to soak up the oil..
DON'T DIVE RIGHT IN!! they will be HOT, but they cool down easy enough, pat them with the kitchen roll and there you have a VERY tasty pocket of melted chocolate encased in sweet batter!

Also i would maybe ask permission first - if your parents are uneasy about you dealing with hot hot oil .. maybe ask them to help you.. n___n
If they are fine with you cooking then yarr go for it!

Sounds positively scrumptious.
Although I'm addicted to chocolate anyway.
And about foods....
Try cucumbers with ketchup/catsup?
Just peel and cut the cucumbers and put a little bit of ketchup on them.
Mmm
And Macaroni and cheese with ketchup is good too. :]

Speaking of ketchup, the only way I eat my scrambled eggs is with ketchup =D

I love Pate (french) which is basically cooked chicken livers then pureed and put into blocks it is very tasty on bread, crackers, etc.

Battered KitKat chunkies = ONNOMNOM.
And any chocolate bar with Caramel <3
Also. Try Twix Biscuits.
Bite the ends off a twix, then dip it in tea, drink the tea through the Twix like a straw, then, raise head back - Open mouth and CHOMP domokun

*nibbles on peanut butter cup* D: That sounds really yummy actually. @.@ Too bad I'm not adventurous. xD I've always wanted to eat bugs, but then I don't know how to cook them or I donno where the bugs been. D; So... I hear they're good, or from a show. O;

Cucumbers and ketchup - hurm i may try that.. sounds a interesting mix C:
I like fried eggs with ketchup and those cheese slices in a toasted sandwhich om nom nom
o0o i luff pate too xD my friends think its disgusting but i really like it on toast xD

ive had some of one before but i thought it was too rich xD but but but battered Revels also = love
caramel chocolate battered is nice xD - kitkat chunkies xD omg im just going to have to try and batter things - maybe a battered bounty.. hurm xD
it is so so nice you should try it chocolate is just om nom nom nom XD
im craving it now oh tomorrow when i go into town i shall be purchasing lots of chocolaty goodness xD
