Clone Yami If they are trying to cut back on the smaller holidays then why didn't they skip Valentines day. Plus I celebrated St. Patrick's Day as much as I could with being under the legal age of drinking. And I believe St. Patrick's Day is celebrated more then Valentines Day. If I had school yesterday almost everyone would be wearing green.  {We are hear to protect...}  Yes but st. patties day is not a national holiday (well it is but it isn't a nationally celebrated holiday). Valentines day is celebrated all over the world.

Sole_Stealer Hm, is this legit? St. Patrick's Day was first celebrated in America. O.o That's a lie and a half..... Saint Patrick's day was celebrated in Ireland for a long time to celebrate Saint Patrick bringing the Catholic faith to Ireland.
At Zi: It's only Capitalistic on the west coast of the USA. You should see the east celebration. It's freaking awesome! They got parades and happy peoples!
