Minori gave Katsuo an amused stare and a raised eyebrow, before turning back to get bombarded by questions, cookies, and bandages, just to name a few. Some of her maids were...quite enthusiastic, really.
"Oh dear." The butler murmured softly. "Not again." He sighed, then looked at Katsuo in the eye. "I do not know if she has told you...or any of her friends of that matter, but may I know if you have any idea of Minori-san's condition?"

Katsuo occasionally peeked back to Minori out of curiosity. She seemed to be having a lot of fun being pampered and fussed over. She was fine, he assured himself.
"Again?" He questioned. What did he mean? This had happened before? He tried not to pry any further than he already had, however. It wasn't his business. "No, she hasn't told me of any condition. I didn't even know she had one until... Well, just now." He smile awkwardly back.

It was amusing indeed, to be surrounded by all this fussing. She had pulled away her ankle from them though, insisting to leave the bandages to later. Minori didn't want to break out into another fit in front of Katsuo, and not at home. Not in front of everyone.
It just brought back too many terrible memories.
The older man smiled sadly. "She's always been like that. Always pretending to be strong. She doesn't like having others worry for her. ...When in fact, hiding all these makes those who know worry."

"Oh, I... I didn't know." He paused and looked back at her, still fighting quietly with the concerned staff over how they should deal with her injury. "It must be hard." As much as he disliked getting involved with other people's business, it seemed as though he might already be in pretty deep when it came to Minori's affairs.

"She pretends that it isn't. The Young Mistress always says she doesn't want to be like the Mistress, but in fact, they are quite similar. It's funny really." The two females in the family were both stubborn and liked putting up a strong front. Many years serving them had taught him that.
He stood up and bowed to Katsuo. "Well. I must thank you again for helping Minori-san. You should go home now, your parents may be worried."
"Already?" The girl's voice protested. "I could try some of those male fashions I've been working on on Katsuo-san!" A happy smile on her face to pretend that everything was okay, even though it still hurt.

Katsuo smiled almost apologetically at Minori when he mentioned her not wanting to be like her mother. He knew how that felt, at least. And the pressure must have been just as bad for her as it was for him. "That probably is the case, you're right." He ignored the fact that it was highly likely that neither of his parents were even home.
At the thought of being dressed up in clothes designed by Minori, he almost took a step back in surprise. He'd had bad experiences with girls who wanted to dress him up before. ...It hadn't been very pleasant. "Y-you should probably get some rest, Minori-san. You'll heal faster that way."
((I SAY MAKE HIM DO IT ANYWAY. o/))
