I wasn't aware there were any problems with the guild, but then again I'm somewhat new and still getting myself acclimated to the forums here so I could miss a lot. sweatdrop

I think it's an open place Like, you reeeeally don't get that "Oh, I wish I didn't say that" feeling When you say things And people definitely try to Make you feel welcome Like sisters! Yanno? I didn't know there were problems But yanno If people hang out enough You're BOUND to rub shoulders And get in a tiff Perhaps if there is a problem between members Let it be known! Don't post and cuss out people But talk it out, yanno Or just don't care if someone Wronged you It's online babes, Issues online can never truly be settled.

Issues online can never truly be settled.The bolded part was what I was getting at. The subforums by the way can not be deleted. This coming weekend we'll work on making them all storage units.

I think we need to get some people into action. We have a lot of people in the guild, and I think about only half the people talk, or even lurk. So i think new members wouldn't be good idea until the guild is active again.

About the subforums: I don't think they should be all storage places.
See, we could do this: We could make most of them for storage, and keep a few simply for some of the bigger topics, like music. We could have a music subforums, an avatar subforum, the posting game subforum, a roleplaying one, the crew one and... Any others you think would be used more, and not just forgotten about. I think people would really use them if there wasn't just so many.

I, personally, don't feel like we have too many subforums.. Just not enough people seem to go in there or post in there.
I am a culpret(sp?) to that matter.
See, isntead of unloading my problems in the issues subforum, I do it here, because I know it is more likely to be noticed in the main threads.
If we could encourage people to go into the subforums more often, and post there, it would help.
Events wise, I think the Guild can handle it, but personal problems do distract the girls from the events..
If we were to host future events, then I would be happy to act as a reminder for everyone.
Changes to the events could be like, more time fr entries or crafts etc..
The Valentine event.. Well we only had a couple of days to complete what we wanted to make for our Valentines. Also, invitations can be sent out earlier etc.
Personal reasons are also why people will be leaving Gaia/The PPS, that is no fault of the Guild.
What I will blame the Guild for, is being too damn addictive! rofl heart
I love all you girls, and I find no problems with the Guild.
There are little things that can always be worked on, but I don't think they should be taken on as a whole big challenge to try and improve the Guild, in one go.
The Guild will always be great!
As long as we girls stick together and help each other out, which I know we will.

This is a huge big long post, so I'll underline my main-ish points for everybody's sake. D:
Personally, I love this guild the way it is. Well, not right now exactly, with a bunch of members leaving, but just a bit before that. But, I feel, I don't mean to be rude or anything, that we're trying to make this guild bigger and less personal. We had the whole thing where we were trying to recruit lots of members, but I don't think we need to do that. It's better if it's not big, so that it can be more personal and comfortable for everybody.
And I do agree with everyone else on the whole less activities thing. On the V-Day event, I got really sick that week and I wasn't able to get on until the last day of the event to make art and send out gifts, and I had a bunch of pit orchestra rehearsals for the musical that week as well. Maybe if we do activities, we should do them at times when people don't really have to be places, or have more time to do things, like at Christmas time when everybody's on break. That was a fantastic event. C: I felt there was lots of time for everybody to talk and get to know each other.
Also, on the members subject, I was in a guild where they did something that seemed to keep the guild active. Every Saturday, they would clean out their members list; if you had less than 5 posts you were kicked out. I think it should be something more along the lines of maybe cleaning the guild out once a month? Like, where all of the mods and such pitch in.
But finally, here's the good part of my critique, the stuff that's excellent about this guild! <333333 Everybody seems to be open minded, and I've never seen anybody get in a fight here. At all. It's just great, and pleasant. And sometimes, I feel like I can talk about things to you guys that I can't talk to my friends IRL. For some odd reason. But yeah. It's just well run. What happened?
- -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - Agreed... what happen. I think the PPS is fine. A little crazy yeah but thats because there are a lot of members... And people make a few of the same topics. But over all I think its good. Unless there was some drama I dont know about eek . Oh and I agree, it is a little hard to get personal with a few thousand members. Also there could be a clean out of members, like the people that are part of th guild but never post.

Those things should be considered as well for those who may not be active and not logging on.

Agreed, I sometimes get caught up in real world life... sense im a senior I have college and senior drama going on.
