I got 3 this year around the time it came out, and ever since I've been on and off addicted to it. Unfortunately I'm still stuck on medium (there are a few basics I'd like to get instilled in me so that when I move up all I need to do is train my hand to move to the orange button), though someone decided to finish up the run-through for me, including the battle against Lou.
I borrowed my friend's copies of one and two, but they aren't as good music-wise. Makes me sad, but I do want to try the eighties one.
What about you all? Anyone play any of the Guitar Hero games? What level are you playing? Which one is your favorite installment?

I only have GH II, which kinda sucks but its better than no GH at all. xD
I absolutely love it! Most songs I'm playing on Hard, but some still kick the crap out of me, lol. But I love playing 'em none the less. :]

3 has an excellent soundtrack. If you get the chance to purchase it, I recommend it highly. smile One has a pretty good soundtrack too, but some of the features don't work as well.

I just went out and bought 3 last night, I was up 'til 1am playing it all the way through. I absolutely love it! xD Yeah my oldest sis said that GH one had some issues, which is kinda sad, 'cause I heard it had songs by David Bowie and Queen.
But I'd really like to get my hands on GH 80's as well, lol. x]
I kinda hoped that 3 would have had some Billy Idol, but I'm crossing my fingers that maybe he'll be on the next one? Lol. xP

Everything works so smoothly in 3, though...I just wish they had actually made it legends of rock. Come on, if it's legends of rock and you're advertising with Slash, you know people are going to expect it to be songs from the 60's through 80's that we consider to be classics and/or are in the hall of fame! What's with the songs from the 2000s?
And why the hell are they making an Aerosmith one? stressed

That's what I'm sayin'! I mean really, when I hear someone say "The Legends of Rock" I sure as hell don't think about The Killers, Slipknot, etc. I would have really liked to see a song by David Bowie/Billy Idol/def leppard/Twisted Sister/Ted Nugent or early Bon Jovi on there instead of Disturbed/Queens of the Stone Age, etc. :/ Really? They're making an Aerosmith one? Lol, as much as I love Aerosmith I can't imagine an entire GH with just their songs. xD

I only have Guitar Hero 3 and I'm on Medium level.
I've been trying to play Hard but I just lose it after a while. xD;
I want some more of the games though~

I got all three...
And every single song on my ipod just cause...
There is another coming out....
An Aerosmith version.... *pauses* Yes girls they are...
My mom already put a down payment just to get it...
It's going to be a list of songs they like as well as some of their own...
I gots Knights of Cydonia from 3 playing right now. The Galloping Triplets part keeps kicking my butt on medium...

I just got the GH Aerosmith, along with Rock Band, the other day;
and I've got to say it's pretty freakin awesome, same goes for RB. X]

I luff GH!!! I have GH3 for Wii, and I play on Hard. I only know how to play a few songs on Expert(like Radio Song and Slow Ride).
I want to get GH Aerosmith cuz I need another guitar to help my older sis play(she sucks at video games)
