Actually, to be sorted you do not HAVE to do the homework assignments...
They're trying to sort everyone who wants to be sorted by the end of March, so the only requirements are that you make 25 posts in the guild and have been a member for one week before you apply to be sorted.

And... YAY SORTING! xd
I've been here a couple of months... so I'm glad to finally be sorted! Just waiting patiently for someone to look at mine and choose for me smile

As long as you stay active, I don't mind if you don't keep up with homework assignments. It isn't required of students to take the classes, but it is a way to earn house points. Just don't sign up for a bunch of classes and then avoid the work, some teachers dock points for such things. *nodnod*

I submitted my answers and they said I need 9 more posts...but I think I may be in Gryffindor, because one of the Sorters wrote one of those grand "this is your house" posts right under where my post was, and it said Gryffindor (am I babbling?).
