Death may surround me......
No it is not a Christian book series. The Authoress is a Witch. She has made statements herself about being a witch and that her books written to get young readers into the black or white arts of magic. The spells in the books are actual spells. Some from Wiccan beliefs and practices others from even darker regions of Witchcraft. There has always been good (white witches) Vs evil (black witches) in the arts if witchcraft. She had used the symbols gryphon and snake as a sort of Mock of the Lion of Judea and the Serpent (saitan) But I do not embrace it

I wouldn't say its a Christian book. However, to those saying that the book is evil, and some have once said the you should read it because of that blabla ect...
But to those that say/think that... what the heck? Its just a book. Sure some people get way into and believe, now thats wrong. But if you just read it for entertainment and don't believe any of it then thats fine. Like I said before... its just a book.
