hey guys i'm in my schools' pit orchestra for the school musical and would love to hear stories/comments/whatever about other pit orchestras, ya know to see if my school is the only one that actually encourages that kind of stuff
if u aren't in one but have seen one before still feel free to comment on anything u might have seen or heard, i'd still love to hear ur comments

I was in pit once. I don't know about you, but I quite disliked it.
Actually, I think it had nothing whatsoever to do with the activity itself. The playing was fine, and it was decent music. But the people I was with... *grumble*
Well, first of all, the other trumpets. One was one of the annoying people. The other forgets practically everything and can't really play. Then there were the trombones. One was my brother, and he and the other were jerks to me the entire time. It sucked massively.
Aside from that, it was fine, but those people made it just an overall really lousy time for me. So my tip is see who else is signing up before you do, so you don't get placed with people who annoy you. ¬¬
