RionaDaidouji I could see them doing a prequel of sorts, set when the Air Nomads were still around. That would be pretty cool. I agree. Or when perhaps Katara's or Zuko's mother was around.

I believe there was going to be 6 seasons in all, but the last three in contract is suppose to be a different story...you know...like Star Wars...>_> <_< prequel perhaps? Why only six?
Mayhaps they have a completely different show in the works?

I think the series should be based on a "different world." Not just only on old Asian themes, but on differnent parts of the world like Russia, Africa, Bhutan, etc. Except North America. No one would watch that. Also, the places should be named different based on the seasons. Instead of Water Tribe it could be called the Winter Empire. And instead of the Avatar learning to control all elements, he/she should try to learn lightbending or darkbending. I don't know just another crazy idea from me. Sorry, I have an overreactive imagination.

Cold Beauty I think the series should be based on a "different world." Not just only on old Asian themes, but on differnent parts of the world like Russia, Africa, Bhutan, etc. Except North America. No one would watch that. Also, the places should be named different based on the seasons. Instead of Water Tribe it could be called the Winter Empire. And instead of the Avatar learning to control all elements, he/she should try to learn lightbending or darkbending. I don't know just another crazy idea from me. Sorry, I have an overreactive imagination. I always assumed the rest of the races lived on the other side of the map.

And I'm guessing by North America you mean white-dominant USA and Canada, right?

MistuhFieryCat I'm not too fond of having a story about the next Avatar because, first of all, that requires Aang dying. Hehe. And the water tribe. There's nothing interesting about them. I mean, the cool thing about Aang was that he was the last airbender. There doesn't seem to be any obstacles a waterbender Avatar has to overcome and yea. Unless Aang fails to beat the Fire Nation. Now we have a plot. i agree that if its about the next avatar it won't be as exciting since they won't have a history like aang did...

That's exactly something that would ruin the legacy of the show: a modern day story about a kid who has to master his great powers, all while balancing school and pre-teen life, and trying to appear normal so no one will find out.
