LadyOfTheRoses We played a song called "Cure of the Rosin Eating Zombies from Outer Space" at the beginning of the year. It was hysterical! rofl The best part is definitely the scream at the beginning

uhm..... i know this is for orchrestra (our schools too small to have one) but our pep band is playing Apache by the Sugarhill gang it's really fun.

Little Silver Girl Oh boy! I remember a piece i played at orchestra camp a few years ago...American Salute (a lovely compilation of all those really patriotic songs like when johnny comes marching home again, the national anthem, you're a grand old flag, and to top it all off, God Bless America). The piece was fine, but it was really random and moderately obnoxious. The community band I'm in played an arrangement of American Salute, I have a feeling we played different songs because the one I have played was different it was different variations of the same theme (the ants go marching, but the patriotic one) and it's hard as hell! As for fun songs... or what my high school band director calls fun... they can go burn. His fun songs are all grade 2 pieces of crap that I can sight read near perfect and bore you to tears cause we than have to play them for a month to get it ready for a concert... fun songs = the devil

we played the 4:33 song for our spring concert last year as our finale and is like so frekin funny people just looked around awkward and retarded while our conductor still waved his arms rofl rofl rofl

John williams in concert. When we came to the imperial march my high school director (a severe, older woman) pulls out this huge plastic light saber and begins to conduct with it. eek We were all like WHAAAAAAAT?!?!!!! rofl Oh, and then there's the jaws scream... We couldn't do it during rehearsals because the teachers in surrounding classrooms were freaking out. OH MY GOD SOMEONES IN TROUBLE WTF IS GOING ON!!! ...oh it's the band? My bad. rofl rofl rofl rofl

Halo theme, Star Wars and at one point our band teacher did drums to the strings playing some rock song. Halo annoyed me because we did it at the end of the year, so no one was paying attention.

right now we're playing harry potter(Hedwig's flight and Harry's wounder world?) My friend Isaiais and I already were able to play by ear but now we havethe sheet music.It's awsome,but sucks cuz we have second violin..

we were marching in our all state parade and the school in front of us were dressed as LMFAO while playing party rock Anthem and dancing eek
