Oh, and I hate "They've known each other since they were babies, so they're soul-mates!" thing. Like, Ginger and Darren from "As told by Ginger," or any other middle-school-based show. If I knew a guy since I was a baby, I'd think of him more as a brother than a lover. *shivers* You hit that point right on the head. Gosh, I hate that too. I actually read a (fictional) book where that happened and the girl got pregnant by him and she committed suicide. Sad...

I tend to ship rivals/enemies as my main, like Harry/Draco or Zuko/Aang. And as my secondaries, uber!seme/uber!uke pairings, like Kyoya/Tsuna or or Mukuro/Tsuna, or Xanxus/Tsuna. Tsuna: Why am I so uke! And pairings where the seme say Akabane or Hisoka, has shone creeyness or interest towards the uke say Ginji or Gon.
I can't help it I like writing dubcon, and reluctance and love lines like
Seme: Don't worry I'll be gentle. *evil chuckle*
Uke: Please no, I don't want it. *whimper*
Seme: Oh but you're far to nice not to taste *licks*
Uke: Ah, no, please *shiver* etc.
