"You're annoying!" Kilah pointed out every three or four seconds. By time she made it home, she just wanted to storm into her room, slam the door and stay there for a while. She knew that wasn't gonna happen.
She expected Noyama to come barreling at her, wailing about how she needed to tell her where she was going. What she didn't expect was-
"KIILLAAHH!" And then a hug.
"...Momoro?"
"Oh, Kilah! I'm so sorry! Please don't change!" The island ruler begged, ears lowered.
"Hey now," she began, pushing him away and brushing herself off. Momoro cooties, ew. "It was a minor...casting mistake, it's better now."
"I'm glad!" The boy, now much taller, and definetly older said happily, glaring at the thing that had followed Kilah here. It had that stupid bald boys scent on it. "Let's go inside now, okay?"
"Yeah, alright." Lifting a hand, she waved in some random direction and hoped Vin had seen. "Later...er, Vin." Ha. She remembered. Off into the house the two children went, no doubt to run into the Noyama Kilah had already braced herself for.
