As Jason left the elevator he pulled out his PDA and began to go through his inventory. As he walked through the hallways he was totally absorbed with his little device. Jason wanted to be prepared, right after he got some food he planned to see what Jun’s boys were in need of. In his totally absorbed state, he nearly walked into Ky who was just a few feet into the kitchen, He banked hard to the right just to nearly missed colliding into the girl. “My apologies.” Jason said tipping his hat to Ky. Looks like we all had the same idea. Lets get some grub on Jason joyful thought of eating some good food was disturbed by both who was in the room and the state they appeared to be in; Jun asleep, Ky with stick up her a**, New guy being too friendly with Nori, and the meadow lark Xavier.

Catching Nori's eyes as she arrived at the kitchen, Kyrin didn't hear Jason coming up behind her. As he apologized for their near collision, she nodded to him and said, "Its alright." And as if suddenly realizing whom it was she appeared a little taken aback, she hadn't realized he'd arrived. She scanned the kitchen quickly, taking in the occupants. Jun was there and appeared to be passed out in a chair. Kyrin took that to be her fault and made a mental note to give him the rest of the evening off after the meeting. Nori was, as Nori always seemed to be, poised and ready to cook. Kyrin smiled at him and asked politely, "I'd like some of whatever you're making if you wouldn't mind." And then she noticed Xavier. He was slouched in a chair not too far from Jun, typing something quickly into his computer. He was so intent on what he was doing that it seemed he hadn't even noticed that Kyrin or Jason had entered. He really does get down to his work when he needs to... She thought and then she wondered how much it had to do with the fact that Jaydn wasn't there. Kyrin placed the ponderings to the back of her mind for another time. Turning to Jason she said, "Glad to see you back. I hope the trip was pleasant." And as she spoke to him, it crossed her mind as to why she hadn't talked to Jaydn about him while she had him on the phone. Miles was in the room. She answered her own question just as quickly as she had thought it. Ky would get around to seeing what Jason was really all about another time. It seemed that the other man didn't really care to mind her, so she needed to know what he was good for. She figured she could just ask Jason, but she knew that Jaydn probably had plans for what the other man should be going about doing. And I doubt going on a vacation was one of those things. She thought, but kept her face clear. Lastly she saw another man near Jun. He looked vaguely familiar, but Kyrin wasn't sure what his name was, Hiro? No. Hiroki? No. God I know it starts with an 'H' right? Kyrin didn't actually know the man personally, but she'd heard of him and cursed herself for not being able to pull up his name. Damn, I must be tired. Moving over to him, Kyrin put out her hand, "Kyrin Matsui. I don't believe we've met personally."

Haruo accepted a few of the pastries that Nori had offered and went to sit with Jun and Xavier. When he set them down on the table, Jun's arm reached out and dragged two back to his mouth. His head never rose from the table and his eyes remained closed while he ate. Haruo smiled down on his friend. They had not known each other long but they had become fast friends. Almost everyone took to Jun very quickly, but Haruo thought they would be friends for a very long time. Haruo looked up to the doorway at the sound of voices to see Kyrin Matsui enter the Kitchen with an African American man. Haruo was instantly reminded of where he was and how out of place he was. The gentleman with Kyrin appeared confident and professional, insinuating power and position. But Kyrin Matsui made Haruo very uncomfortable, any mishap could cost him more than his life. So when Kyrin approached him, Haruo tensed noticably. Then Jun's head rose from the table top and he peered towards the door with exhaustion in his eyes. When he caught sight of the man with Kyrin he rose and began to cross the room. Great Jun! Perfect time to leave me alone in this place. Haruo stepped out of the way as Kyrin approached, hoping she was looking to speak with her red haired sibling, but had no such luck. "My name is Haruo Kutachi Miss Matsui, there is no need to introduce yourself." he responded. Taking her hand gently he bowed respectfully to her. "I was just escorting Jun'ichi up here, I will be leaving shortly." With that Haruo slid backward very slightly assuming he wasn't needed for anything else.
Jun approached Jason very sluggishly."Hey Jason, long time no see. Russia didn't treat you too badly I hope." Jun offered his hand in greeting. Quietly he asked, "Can I speak with you in the hall for a minute," and gestured towards the door.

Katzchen enjoyed how the cool ground in the food room felt on his pads. Having saved the man with the red thing attacking his head, Katzchen was feeling tired. He began looking for a nice place to take a rest, but was distracted by a very large dust bunny he found lurking maliciously under one of the tables. He chased it under the hotbox where he could only bat at it with his paw. Cursing his failure to catch his prey, and promising to come back and search under the hotbox later, Katzchen wandered across the room to investigate the new sounds coming from the doorway. It was no time at all before Katchen recognized the call of the loud one. Her sounds were very distinct and when she roared, Katchen ran for cover. Luckily she was being very quiet, and Katzchen was able to hear the footsteps coming from behind him in time to avoid being stepped on. It was the strange one, and he was being unusualy rude not paying attention to where he was trodding with his enormous paws. Wanting to avoid any future attempts at being trampled, Katchen wandered under the table to sleep on the foot of the man he had saved from the red furry thing. The man owed him that much at least. "Meow"

Xavier had glanced over at the pastries that Nori had set out but decided that he would just wait for lunch. His eyes shifted between the papers that he'd received and the laptop screen in front of him. Click. Click. Click. He ran his tongue ring against his teeth in concentration and looked at the numbers that Nori had given him again. If the numbers that Nori had come to were correct, then it looked like Xavier had more work then he'd originally thought. It all comes down to the fact that I was trying to work on this project from Japan. He though bitterly. He'd put himself on the payroll under a different name and had been instructing Jaydn's security team from another country. Seems things got a little tangled He figured as he used Nori's calculations to begin to unravel the problem. He glanced up at Nori for a moment, I might have him look over some of the other things. He's pretty smart. and then movement out out of the corner of his eye caused him to look up. It seemed that Kyrin had made her way to the kitchen. She was talking to Haruo. Xavier also noticed that Jun had risen to meet another who'd entered the kitchen. His eyes followed Jun and landed momentarily on Jason. He shifted his gaze away, not interested in Jason's business in the least. As Kyrin spoke to Haruo, Xavier heard a small 'meow' come from what seemed to be under his chair. Shifting his laptop he leaned down to find the kitten there. Reaching with his free hand, he lifted the creature up and rubbed his cheek against the kitten's. "Here, you can help me little one." And he let the kitten onto his lap, amongst the papers and laptop.

“Sure dog.” Jason looked a Jun oddly as he turned and walked out the door into the hallway I wander what he has to say? I mean there isn’t anything we couldn’t talk about in present comp… Xavier he doesn’t want to talk in front of the song bird or maybe the new guy. “You look like death warmed over you gonna be ok?” Jason said in a playful tone as Jun exited the lunch room.

Now left alone in his office, Miles leaned back into his chair, hearing his neck crack as it relaxed to the side. So Maddox was coming back. For what reason? To be on the safe side, or because they would be coming back soon anyways? We're more than capable. Instead of feeling contempt for Jaydn, Miles placed a bit of it towards Maddox instead; which would otherwise not be there if Maddox had a shred of what Miles considered to be qualities of a leader. Crushing out the red spark of his cigarette in his ashtray, Miles turned his attention to finishing up what was in front of him, which took more or less fifteen minutes until the familiar pull of memory surfaced. Should get in contact with Caiden Flynn... He wasn't looking forward to it, but instead of pushing the duty onto someone else, Miles resolved to take the job and do what he could with it. It was his nature to take a project and exceed expectations whenever possible. He scrolled through his laptop and pulled up some notes. It seemed the Brothers Flynn spent a lot of time at bars under Matsui control. With Caiden's cell phone number, Miles thumbed it into his own phone and pressed call.

Haruo Kutachi. Kyrin thought, as she commited his name and face to memory. His association with Jun could be beneficial later if she was not able to locate the other man. Kyrin watched Jun momentarily, as he passed her, thinking on how Jason had completely ignored the fact that she’d spoken to him as he left the room. Although not completely sure she appreciated being shrugged off so easily, Kyrin figured they might have business. Business first. Pleasentries second. But it still brought the wonder to her mind as to whether Jason was going to listen to her if she had orders for him, or if his loyalties weren’t deep enough to follow Kyrin as Jaydn’s seconds in line. Turning her attention to Haruo again, Kyrin noticed his tension and smiled after he’d bowed and released her hand. ”I am glad to meet Jun’s associate.” As he shifted his position and spoke of leaving, Kyrin simply shrugged, ”Stay and have lunch. Nori is a brilliant cook.” Even though she had been giving Haruo her mostly undivided attention, Kyrin couldn’t miss the fleeting look that Xavier had given Jason when he arrived. Nodding once more to Haruo, Kyrin excused herself and went to her cousin’s side. Settling herself in the chair next to him, she realized that he’d stopped doing work, with the kitten on his lap. Tilting her head to the side slightly, Kyrin asked in a low voice, “What is it?” When he didn’t immediately answer, Kyrin made herself comfortable. He would answer in his time, as was always the case with Xavier, but she didn’t like to see him on edge. He looks a little pale… After a minute, a small black nose was touching hers and she hadn’t realized that she’d zoned out. She was slightly surprised for a moment before smiling and taking the small cat from Xavier and placing it on her lap to pet.

Caiden and Riley were sitting side by side in one of the Matsui owned bars off of Garret and 5th. An empty glass of soda was sitting next to Riley and Caiden was nursing a beer. It was a little early in the evening for Caiden to be drinking normally, but the two had nothing to do and they were terrible at waiting. A cigarette rested in between Caiden’s fingers as he tapped some ash in the tray to his right. As he was about to continue his conversation with Riley about the newspaper Riley was reading, Caiden’s phone went off. Pulling the cell phone out of his pocket, Caiden looked curiously at the number. Unknown. He showed it to Riley, who shrugged. Answering the phone, Caiden said, ”Hello?”
" Caiden Flynn. " Miles Addressed. It was almost a question. " Apologies for interrupting any business you may be taking part in. This is Miles Morozov." Although his words were formal, his voice was very casual; An attempt at being down to earth, but with the sharpness of authority. The cell phone was pressed between his ear and his shoulder as files were being organized.
Raising an eyebrow, Caiden looked curiously at his brother. ’Morozov?’ He mouthed. Riley tilted his head and looked thoughtful for a moment, ”The man we met before Jaydn. Smokes.” He whispered back, so that Miles wouldn’t be able to hear on the other end. A look of recognition crossed Caiden’s face and he replied to Miles, ”No worries. How can I help you?” As Caiden spoke to Miles, Riley reached across Caiden to finish off the beer that was nearly gone.
There was a pause as Miles waited for Caiden to answer, probably trying to recollect who he was. He had hoped he'd made more of an impression, but sometimes it can't be helped. " I'm to let you know that Jaydn has assigned you to work under me for a while. Your brother will be working under Miss Kyrin. Think of it as a sort of... internship. " More like a test really. Jaydn wanted to see their worth, and Miles did as well; He was weary of how new they were and didn't know quite what to expect. " In any case, Kyrin will call a meeting soon, and I expect to see the both of you there, where we can go over the details. This is just a heads up. " He was preparing to end the call soon, but stopped there in case Caiden had some sort of question or affirmation.
"Thank you for the call, Mr. Morozov. We'll be there." And with that, Caiden hung up. He glanced over at Riley, who was twirling at empty beer glass in front of him, looking at Caiden. "We've got a job." Riley grinned and settled the glass. "Wonderful." Standing up and leaving a tip under his glass, Caiden motioned to the door. "Let's go." The twins left the bar, both nodding to the barkeep, and called a taxi outside. They exchanged glances with each other and grinned; the expression on their faces was reminiscent of Xavier Matsui's.

Standing in the hall way, Jun leaned against the wall, and looking pitifully at Jason he said, "Do you have any uppers? I didn't want to talk about this in front of Kyrin, but I'm running on about 30 seconds of sleep in the last 36 hours and I took one of those sleeping pills you gave me about 6 hours ago." Jun felt very insecure for a second, recounting the drugs he had in his system and the ones he planned to use soon enough, but then he remembered who he was talking to and was grateful that he had a friend who was not only knowledgeable but understanding.
Haruo smiled very warmly when Kyrin offered him to stay and eat with them, and made a mental note to reevaluate his opinion of Ms. Kyrin Matsui. Excusing himself politely, Haruo approached Nori and offered his assistance in preparing the food.

Jason almost fell over trying to contain a laugh.“Is that it? Whew, with how serious you look I though you were going to ask me to kill the new guy.” Jason wiped his brow and began to fumbled through his pockets till he found what he was looking for a PEZ dispenser with Darth Vader’s head on it. He began clicking out pills until he had 6 different colors of pills sitting in his palm. He picked out a yellow one and two purple ones and handed them to Jun. “Take the yellow one now in one hour take a purple pill, if you still need to be up after 24 hours have passed take the other purple one. Make sure you wait the 24 hours thought; take two of those purple ones within too short a time frame and you will end up in the morgue. That should do you big homie.” “Anything else you need?” Jason asked as he slid the dispenser into his pocket and tossed the remaining six brightly colored pills into his mouth and began to chew them up.

Kyrin sat a few more minutes in her office before glancing at her reflection in the mirror. With a sigh, she stood. She’d left lunch before everyone else, but not before having a bit of Nori’s cooking, and now was wishing she hadn’t had anything. Placing another pin in her hair to keep it out of her face, Kyrin grabbed a stack of papers and looked at her gun on the desk. Dressed in a black fitted suit she couldn’t get away with carrying it on her, but in the confines of their building she was sure it wouldn’t be necessary. Even still, she would have felt more comfortable with it on her person. She bent down to brush something off her heels and then made her way to the meeting room. It was not surprising to Kyrin to see that Miles was already in the room. She didn’t, however, say anything to him as she nodded her hello and set out stacks of paper in front of six seats. The packets went over all the information that had been gathered outside of the things that Miles and Jun had found out, as well as information on Leo, for those people whom weren’t acquainted with him. Kyrin, herself, was just slightly early for the meeting and knew the others would be arriving soon.
