I was considering getting one but I wanted to get some opinions first
so if anyone has one or played one then please tell me what you think and if it was worth it

I have one and hate that piece of s**t. Trust me; a 1337 computer that you hand-build is much more worth it; you learn how it fully works and you don't have to dish out even more money, just to play a ******** game online. stressed But, it depends on who you are. Councils are made to be as easy to operate as a toaster, as most people aren't able to handle anything more complex than that. But, if you don't want to build your own gaming machine and just want to buy something to play right away then go ahead and get the 360. Also, if you jump onto Google, there are sites that will run you through on how to abuse some of the online contests that give you three days of Live Gold and get it into an infinite loop, so that you never have to pay for Live again! xp

Well, I'm going to assume that you are going to start from scratch. For all of the parts, a case and a flat screen monitor that is just middle of the road and not a giant 40 inch, I'd say from 600 to 800 bucks. Then again, if you stick with a single core and don't go to duel core, you may take an extra hundred bucks off it. However, if you're currently using a desk top computer and want to replace it, you can take another 100 to 150 off the tag by just using the current monitor you have. Plus, using the same keyboard and mouse will knock another forty off it.
