"It's one of the drawbacks to loving my blue skin, 'Chev. we Tier'dal are a treacherous lot in most cases."

Though he finished his searching and walked over, catching his wife's face in his hands and givng her one of those brain mushing loving kisses.

"They were having a fine time until someone in my staff apparently did something overly stupid. which will get rectified immediately."

looking at his youngest.

"Well, we'll have to see about that, my boy. perhaps if your really nice to Kaelin, she'll make him spend more time with you."

Aw he was trying to soothe and distract her...granted she was going to let him do so and enjoy it all at the same time. "Yes yes, treacherous. You know what my rule is about the downstairs people...if they're causing trouble that can ripple upstairs or cause havoc in general that isn't good for any of us in any way, they have to go." Grinning at him, "Good to know you're going to deal with that...though if you come back upstairs in a bad mood, I'll step in. And we both know that you don't want that." Giving a laugh however at their son's question.

"Kaelin's like mommy?" When mommy told Khai to do something, he did it. "Is she living with us?" After all, if she was going to be around that much, she was going to have to stay close, right? Apparently he was suddenly full of questions. "She can't be around either." Because he wanted his brother all to himself.

She had no idea what he was doing at first and very nearly yanked the box away from him until it occurred to her that he was trying to help. Stepping back and letting him, she took a deep breath and promised herself she'd not be so protective of the silly thing. "Seems like a silly thing to lecture you about. You were Malikhai D'vinn down in the Sea Elf Kingdom, after all. On your best behavior at all times." Nodding emphatically to that.

"That's true of any spot in the Underdark, Korian. But you wouldn't be the only one. Malikhai and Uncle Malik stick out that way, too. And they're blue." Giggling to that and lugging her suitcase out to the hall before starting on finding all her sister's many things scattered all over the room.

Calyeer nodded knowingly. "I do know. I know it all, just as I know that you're in for some hard times up ahead. But none of that changes the fact that you must always act responsibly and think about what you are doing." Settling into the chair before his son's desk. "Enough lecturing. Did it feel good?"

"Oh, yes....that makes sense." She glanced down at her hands, trying to discern if there was a reprimand in there somewhere. Frowning defiantly, she forced herself to meet the former Queen's gaze. "He just needed a quick break. Working himself to death isn't going to accomplish anything."

Well aware of her superior's tendency to dabble in various things, she simply picked up one of the linkstones, glanced over it cursorily, and settled it into a pouch at her belt. "Testing them out? Very well, then. I'll be sure to use them if anything worthy of your attention comes up. If I might ask....when are you leaving?"

grinning lightly at his son.

"I doubt she'll be living with us...at least just yet. and she's not like mommy like you think of mommy."

hmm, how to try and cover that one.

"More like how dad's horse tells mom's horse what to do."

"Yeah, but I didn't check in. It's important to them to know where I was in general rather than just me behaving like I'm supposed to. They're a tad paranoid I guess you could say but in a way it feels good to know that they worry." Shrugging lightly and closing his suitcase with the aid of sitting on it to do so. "You good or do you need more help?"

"Suppose." It just felt weird being invited into a big family already and frankly he just didn't know what to think about any of it. Or being anywhere of particular interest either. "You should probably talk to your parents and the D'vinns first about that though."

He raised an eyebrow. "Did what feel good?" Frankly if his father was digging for dirt, there was none. They laid around together, they talked, she drifted off and things got kind of weird but enjoyable.

She smiled softly at Lharika, leading the girl from her son's room and closing the door quietly as if they had never been in there. "That's very true, Lharika. Unfortunately it's a think all new rulers go through..they think if they look like they aren't doing anything, people will disapprove. I do hope you don't suffer such thoughts when your own time comes."

"Within a few days, perhaps by morning depending on how fast the D'vinns pack up. And don't run things all strict like, you know how it is around here...keep the ranks and let them know not to goof off, but we're not military either." Giving her a little grin, "Why don't you spend some time with Vale too? He's been coming along nicely."

"Ooooh....then 'Rino better warn Khai because if she's gonna act like Ramoth he needs to look it out!" Blinking for a moment. "I don't think Khai wants to have babies yet too." To the child...well, when Ramoth demanded foals per Serino's participation, she got them and she was quite bossy at that...which Serino never minded but he way laid back like that. "I hope Kaelin doesn't bite at him...I don't think he'd like that."

Piper had to stifle a laugh at that one, seeing as her son had just infered everal things that probably the little mind did not get what he could be saying. Or maybe her mind was just in the wrong place to begin with herself. "Your child logic still needs some work, A'mael."

"He knew where you were." She guessed it was nice that his parents cared enough to get upset. Her own would only be pissed off if she hadn't done what she was supposed to do, not if they didn't know where she was. "I think I'm alright. Everything closed just fine." Snapping her own case closed and setting it on the bed next to his.

She glanced at him for a second and then nodded. "I will. Just as soon as we get home. Daddy won't be happy but he'll come around. You'll see."

He laughed. "Being with her, talking to her, having her in reverie next to you. How do you feel about her, Glynnic?"

"I don't think that's really Glynnic's thought at all but I wouldn't be surprised if it was you and your husband's. I mean no disrespect by that, either. It's just an observation." Stepping out, she glanced back at the closed door and sighed. Off limits. That's exactly what that meant. "So...I guess I should just head back home then. Let him get his work done and settle in."

Lhia laughed, "I'm not nearly as strict a taskmaster as you, Master Tyyrael. I tend to let people slide on the little things." Giving him a wink and nodding. "It's been really hard not having him constantly at my side but if you're sure it won't set him back.... I'd love to see him." She'd caught glances of him every now and then and even gotten updates on his progress.

One could almost see the picture wheel spinning in Malik's head, before shaking hsi head lightly and putting his hand over his eyes and rubbing his temples some.

"Apparently. We're all packed, right?"

"It's the principal of the matter I suppose." Not that he really cared either way, he'd deal with it, own up to it, and be done with it and thus no more worries for him. Nodding at her lightly then. "Good, then we're ready to go whenever. Anything else here you wanted to pick up before we leave?"

"Yeah, right. I'm sure." That was a frightening thought wasn't it? That man looked at him too suspiciously on things.

"Oh, you're probing at my personal life. I thought so." Shaking his head lightly with a grin before a sigh and a light shrug. "It was nice. We get along well." Hell, he knew he didn't love the girl, and they were more or less casually feeling each other out...which was perfectly socially acceptable for elves here anyway.

"Of course we're worried, we're his parents and we naturally do so." Shaking her head. "Nonsense. There's no point in you heading off well, you might as well stay for dinner and the rest of the night. Unless there's somewhere important you need to be?"

"Yes yes, I know. I'm no fun." Nodding lightly back to her, "He'll be fine and you will too...after all, I know how you regard each other and I know I have no right to permanently distance you from your son."

She had herself a laugh at that look he got too. Oh the gears were turning for all kinds of things weren't they? "Children, they think things in the simplest of terms don't they?" Picking up Dhairiss whom just giggled and nuzzled at her happily she nodded to her husband. "I believe so, and you've looked under the furniture. Just have to make sure the kids are done and gather them and meet with Tyyrael. You want to take a ship to Torea or just the horses?"

She nodded and followed him out, shaking her head in negative response to that. No, there was nothing else she needed on this plane though she was certainly going to miss it. She chose to mind the children even though no one had asked her to and Piper had them well in hand. It was enjoyable to listen to Lyssthyren chatter on to her.

"No, I wasn't sure how long I was going to be here so I packed enough to stay the night." Giving a curtsy to her because she was still the Arch Queen. "I would love to stay for dinner. Thank you for the invitation." And now it was time for her to skip off elsewhere before things got uncomfortable.

Yes, he was prying and yes, he had a good reason for it, too. With his son interested in the Moon heir, it presented a bit of a problem to his way of thinking. If things moved in any direction like marriage, a uniting would take place that could spell disaster for the rest of Andal. Therefore, he'd be watching this relationship very closely. "Good. Glad to hear it, son. Do some work and don't forget to wash up and come down to dinner."

Her face bloomed in what could only be called a maternal smile. "You have more rights than you might claim, Master Tyyrael. But we both thank you nonetheless."

"We'll take the horses. it's faster that way, not to mention I'm sure the brigade master is on a time frame, and would not like that to be compromised."

grinning lightly.

"Indeed they do. lets round of the children and head for home."
