How many of you have had a lot of rude people join your party? Like they'll say they'll help you on your quest, but as soon as they're done with it, you're left to your own devices on doing the rest yourself. That is if you even can do it on your own.
I had to cool myself down a little before i could post this, so if I still sound pissy throughout, please forgive me. I know what it's like to have someone complain all the time really heavily.
What I'm looking for is everyone else's stories about noobs on the game.
My problem today was me and a friend tried to do a druid quest (me) and a hunter quest (my friend) that both happened to be in the sunken temple. I looked around for a group and asked for people that wouldn't do the Jammal'an quest, so we can focus on those two mentioned above. Anyways we get into the instance finally and then me and my friend are left alone on a balcony, while the others seemed to start the Jammal'an quest (killing all the small bosses on the balconies first.) I asked where they were going and when i found out what they were doing I said me and my friend (who very mutually agreed) were going to leave the group and look for another group. This guy whispers me and calls me a noob that doesn't know how to do the quest and then puts me on ignore. Me and my friend left the group and we were transported out of the instance. I gave up for the day. We started talking about how we always seem to meet up with these kind of people.
I mean. I love the game and I found some great, helpful people, but you know...? It's like there seems to be so many people on there the like to quest and ditch, get in your group and go way off what you were asking for help with. My friend once was talking about how one guy in one group got kicked out, because he whined so much.

I was in badlands a few days ago on my warlock near uldaman because I was going to run my boyfriends alt warrior through for some leet maces. He was level 39 so he was no-mount-slowbie and I asked a lowbie mage that I saw farming the mobs outside the instance near the summoning stone if he could help me summon him.
The mage said to me "Sorry, Im in Uldaman" even though he clearly wasnt.
I mean, sure if he says hes busy, or hes in a group, or even he doesnt feel like helping, but lying to me while Im standing there watching him... Seriously he had nerv. I told him so and then put him on ignore for being a 'tard. :p

Yes, there are some great people, some mean people, and some stupid people in the game. I am Co-GM of a decent sized guild, so I don't pug anything anymore. I prefer to stay with a rather small, close group of people. It means a lot less problems. xp
My story about stupid people in game:
When I was leveling my shadow priest about a year ago, a non-guildie friend asked if I would run ZF with her and her some other people. I said all right, so they invite me and summon me. Now I look around. The group was something like me (shadow priest), my friend (warlock), another warlock, and I don't know, two mages or something ridiculous like that. So I'm like, "Uhh. Who's tanking this?" They were like, "We don't need a tank. If any of us get hit, you can just heal us." Yeah, wow....

Ah, the idiots of WoW.
I was on my warrior one time and we were doing underbog. The group was Me (prot warrior), my bf (hunter), our friend (enhance shammy), a druid (moonkin, 2 lvls higher then the rest) and a hpriest.
Anyways, we start the instance and, like we always do, mark up the mobs for kill order to make it easier on us all. So away we go, telling everyone what the marks meant, and start fighting mobs. The druid decided she should do 'ae dps' and threw her insect swarm on every target - including the one marked for ice block. Pull ends, we ask her to keep dots off the ice block target. She does it again. I think she also pulled aggro from dpsing on a mob that wasn't the main target - ie, the one I had enough threat to keep above healer aggro, not dps aggro.
So the this druid starts asking my how much hp and armor I have, obviously starting to think that her 2 level higher moonkin arse will do a better job of tanking. At this point I wanted to boot her, but we couldn't because the other person in our group was same guild and we didn't want to offend them (they were doing great).
We finally get close to the second boss and after yet another pull where the druid pulls aggro ( I swear, I would've let her die if I didn't worry the mob would beat other people up after) she decided she didn't have any more time and wanted to leave. Thank the lord! We brought in another friend from that guild and finished the instance super quick.
Arg, but I wanted to strangle her. Learn what marks mean what! Learn that the skull means dps target, and everyone always makes it that. Shouldn't be so difficult, right???

I'm not defending the idiots here, but numero uno, compadre, is that its Underbog. Number two, the biggest grouping of a mob in UB is 3-4, which should be easily tanked by either a warrior, paladin or bear. So trapping everything isnt important, unless you really dont have the survivability/dps to handle 3-4 mobs simultaneously, which is probably why she asked. That said, wtf insect swarm? Moonkin arent known for their aoe prowess, if she wanted the instance to go quicker the best solution would have been to focus-fire in the correct kill order.

The Walking Advertisement i love getting insulting whispers then being put on the sender's ignore. its always funny. dumb people like that aren't worth your time, they're pathetic. just forget about them. I'll admit to having done that once. sad I was just so pissed off and annoyed at this guy though... he was a crappy healer for one, and he wasn't geared well to top that off. He enjoyed breaking cc, pulling when nobody was ready, and insulting the group for his mistakes. biggrin Anyway, we open a chest and a BOE blue pops out and he needs it as we all greed. He then apologizes for it.... we're like... ok... w/e. We kill the first boss and he says he can de, so we all pass and he takes it. THEN! he says "Oh woops! I forgot I don't de anymore! lol" >.> As if that wasn't enough, he needed on two green drops. Which, honestly, isn't too big of a deal, but it is annoying... He said he "forgot" because they always need on greens in his raids... After one of the guys in the group says something along the lines of "You, sir, are an utter jackass." he "rofl"s and leaves.. So I played my immaturity card and sent him a tell saying "thank you for sparing me the trouble and guilt of kicking you by leaving" *ignore* Apparently, the majority of the people in his guild are ninjas, jerks, or a combination of the two.
Sadly enough, it made me feel better. sweatdrop

Sadly enough, it made me feel better. sweatdrop I would have done the same. The guy was being a t**t and all you wanted to do was insult him without having to listen to any of his s**t back. So fair enough really :p It maybe have been funny tho him that you did so (like the above quoted statment) but at least you let him know what you think of his actions, and that you sure as ******** arent going to be partying with him (or probably anyone from his guild) ever again. So dont feel bad!

I've never had people problems when it came to questing, because I am always grouped with the same person, and we both help each other out a lot, even when it comes down to buying mounts or anything.
But he and I have done a few instances in Outland lately with HORRIBLE group members. I mean, just today we were doing... something Crypts, and a level 70 warrior was tanking....
He kept blaming us (we're both hunters) for not doing our jobs (freeze trap, attack the add on enemies), but we both were. He just kept getting possessed and killing our healer, that's all.
The worst person I have ever grouped with, by far, was this pally girl, who said she would tank. The rest of my group was just splendid, great, awesome, and one was a first-time healer and she did awesome. But this ******** pally was so incompetent.
She either stood there for minutes at a time without doing anything or charged at an enemy mob WAY too fast so none of us were ready yet and we all died. She never listened to what we asked her to do and she was apparently on the phone with her boyfriend for the whole damn instance.
Just in case, her name was Vixxen, on Llane server. Don't group with her. She sucked. I know I'm not the best hunter in the damn game, but I recognize a shitty player when I see one. I don't have a clue how she got past level 30.

I was a first time pally tank in VC yesterday. spent most of the run freaking out because I wasn't able to hold aggro because the group was happy to fight anything EXCEPT what I was tanking, and the stupid ret pally kept charging stuff when i was oom....... I actually DPSed down smite myself...... everyone else seemed to only be interested in killing the adds as he stunned and generally stomped around the tank....
You know your group is bad when you're the tank, and you top the DPS meters............

He only stuns when he hits certain percents, & if you DPS him before the adds, you get smacked around by them. Hehe. And I am usually always top of the DPS when I tank. :3 Yay Tankadins.

Unfortunately, you tend to run into people that are only interested in their own ends. Manners are dead in the cyber world.
