Our Jazz band is pretty big. Nothing like a 6th grade band, but maybe something like a 8th grade band.. Anyway, We have 2 Tenors, 2 Altos, 1 Bari, 2 Flutes, 3 trombones,1 Clarinet,4 trumpets,1 Bass guitar,1 Piano and one drummer. We had a guitar player, but he quit.
We had to audition. Our audition piece was "Ain't Misbehavin[Woodwinds,Brass,Piano and Bass] or "Besame Mucho" [Drums and Aux. Percussion]
Oh yeah, and for the concerts..Trumpets have to stand, Trombones have to sit on stools. O____O Our BD wants it to be like.. A professional Jazz concert. O_O I think Flutes sit or something... Hopefully we don't want to stand. OwO I really don't want to sit on a stool for Besame Mucho. gonk We'll [Me,Andy and Scott] will probably fall off of our stools in the middle o f the song, especially Andy, he has lower notes [Like 6t and 7th position. xD]...

Oooh, I didn't even see this. Our jazz band in school has 2 trombones, 1 bass clarinet (who pretends to be a trombone, transposing trombone music.), 5 trumpets, 2 altos, 2 tenors, 2 clarinets, a flute, a piano, a drumset, and 1 bass. Yeah, and then my jazz band has a bass clarinet, a tenor sax, a trumpet, a bass, and a piano. Hehe, I'm the "fake trombone", no one had the heart to give me bari or tenor music. Of course we had to audition. Only the best are sucked into jazz band. XD But, you know, I was into jazz way before this, lol...

Our jazz band is...unique, I guess.
Saxes in front row, trombones in middle, trumpets in back. Rhythm section off to the right in our own little conglomeration.
Currently have...4 saxes (3 if one guy misses any more rehearsal), 5 trombones, 6 trumpets, 2 guitars, 1 bass, 2 pianists, 3 drumset guys, and me, the vibraphonist. But the four of us play aux stuff, we take turns. lol.
