@TIM: Who knows? For it to be associated with the rewards, perhaps it was a serious bug or error in the reward scripting. That could have been quite a sensitive area to change without effecting the whole game. Additionally, programming takes time, especially when you've got to find a problem and make sure there aren't any others to go with it.

I think it was because a lot of botters used it; they were trying to fix the interface so it wouldn't be so easy. Their next target is Fishing, but Lanzer doesn't know how long it'll be before they make a new version.

Yeah, the Word Bump was a breeding spot for botters before they disabled the prize giving. I guess it took them awhile to figure out the right stuff to put in the code. smile

I didn't know that was the reason word bump was take down in the first place. I thought it was a glitch.

Was the entire word bump taken down? Or was it just the prize distribution? ?_?
Anywho, the word bump problem did come from botters, who, I guess, could automatically get the words they need to move on (or something along those lines).
There's a tiny bit of stuff about it in Platonix's AskED the Admin Just use Ctrl+F to look up 'word bump'. XP
