*Masters of Horror* Then how come you always keep trying to defend against what I say? If you didn't care, you wouldn't retaliate. *is the best guild evar*

So, I go on Gaia online to talk to friends... or enemies... instead of sitting around staring at the wall thinking of something to do instead. There you go, now go eat a thumbtack.

*Masters of Horror* Or you could go to a convention. And go to the gaia panel. And meet other gaians. And DJ Helsing. *is the best guild evar*

vanillaXtiffy *Masters of Horror*The majority of the people at cons are less nerdy than you are. *is the best guild evar* Actually, I'm sure 90% of the people there are weeaboo's who love anime, or emo kids who hate themselves... or kids nerdier than me... like you. I'm actually very popular in my hood. If I came back from a con, and my friends found out, they would probably beat me up and call me a nerd. It would go on for months. If your friends don't call you a nerd for that, then they're nerds too cool

I hate that word. Emo.
Just cos you hate yourself, it doesn't mean you're emo. For all you know, the person has a perfectly good reason to hate himself/herself.

*Masters of Horror* There's no real meaning like that behind emo. there may have been, but currently it's just a fashion. They can try saying whatever they want, but deep in their hearts, they know it's true. The emos are the kids that thought they were 'punk' when they were in middle school, then they realized that they weren't nearly hardcore enough to truly be punks, so they went the only route they could go to be accepted. Emo. *is the best guild evar*

Probobly because people feel the need to have groups so that those too stupid/lazy to look for friends on thier own will know where to go. Afterall, friendship seems to be determined by having the same beliefs, opinions, and overall personalitiy as one another these days... which is probobly why free thinkers are basicly outcasts.
Isn't an "emo" just a goth that's too lazy to wear all black and memorize lousy poetry to spew at bypassers at a moment's notice?

It is thrown at anyone who is awkward in social functions, shy, quiet. In my case, because I've got pale skin, dark hair and eyes, and I don't fit the other more conventional social labels.
