I may be wrong ,but oh well. In the first book Hagrid said that Lily and James Potter were head boy and girl. But (I forgot which book) Lupin said that he was a prefect, that meaning that James couldn't have been a prefect.

Couldn't James had be a perfect in his 6th year, and then head boy in his 7th?

In the DH book, they said Hermione's middle name was Jean . Wasn't it Jane in previous books?

no because they only choose one set of perfects from 5th year each new school year... if remus was chosen in 5th year then theres no way james cuold have been head boy
