History: Nyx doesn't have any family to speak of on the ship. Oh, the other crossbreeds take care of him but there is no blood relation between them. The earliest memories Nyx has are of the lab he was born in. The scientists that created him hadn't meant to; Nyx was simply an unforeseen accident when mixing Aranian cells with animals despite the precautions taken to prevent creating a crossbreed. He was also something they couldn't stop from growing once the realized what had happened. They spent a bit too much time letting him grow in vitro and stunted Nyx's growth.
