Excuse me, I call everyone brother and sister.
If I'm not mistaken thats a very hawaiian thing right? My brother inlaw dose that alot, and when we where in hawaii every old woman was antie or something like that
No. It's a very metal thing. I use it more often than most, for many it only applies to other members of the metal community, as a sense of brotherhood. But I believe it should apply to all peoples that do me no wrong. I don't think brotherhood should be limited to just a single entity of people. Especially in this sense, a group of people I care about, who care about me therefore are my brothers and sisters upon any level.

Hawaii all women are Auntie, and guys call other guys "brah" which is short for brahda. Brother and sister are not very common. Uncle is also very common, but it's more used for people who are close to the family, as in a close family friend that we had I called from the time I could talk "Uncle Rick".
