[Kitsusagi Mountain]

Non-Playable Characters

As the story of the Mountain unfolds, some kitsusagi will be introduced whom are essential to the tale. They technically belong to nobody, but are played by the staff of the Mountain shop to further develop the growing legend.

Here we have information about the NPCs and their roles at the Mountain.  

[Kitsusagi Mountain]

The Spirits of the Mountain

NPC Names: K'fari'nayla & Tw'quetjuu'naai
Genders: Female & Male
Titles: Spirits of the Mountain, The Twin Spirits
Personalities: Both are quite playful in nature, despite how wise and aged they are. They are both quite close, with a much stronger bond than lovers even have. They are so close that they usually will talk at the exact same time with the exact same thing to say, or they will just finish off the sentence of their sibling.
Roles: Both spirits of the Mountain seem to do what they can to make sure the Mountain is a safe place to reside. They are responsible for the anthro blessings of kitsusagi, as well as are the main force in trying to suppress any darkness which might try to invade what they consider to be their home. In such fight against the darkness, they created smaller kitsusagi with lesser amounts of goodness and light in them that can normally be found in many angelic kitsusagi (The cherubs).
History: Not much is known at this time about their history, but one can tell that they were here back when humans used to live on the Mountain. The rest about their history is a mystery.

Leader of the Cherubs

NPC Name: Yiba'kundi
Gender: Male
Title: Leader of the Cherubs
Personality: Being an eternal child of the Mountain, he is an extremely playful creature. He tends to try and find games to play rather than acting responsibly as the leader of his kind. He will sometimes talk in third person rather than referring to himself as "I." Yet, on rare occasions, he will step out of the playful role he likes and act more serious, reverting to a leader rather than a child. During such times, he will speak normally. He tends to view the Spirits more as parental figures, even though he calls them both by their full names (out of respect).
Roles: He is the first of his kind, and thusly dubbed the leader of the cherubs. When push comes to shove, he seems to naturally take on the role of leader. This character tends to be used for smaller random events/announcements or for RP-plots.
History: When the Demons of the Mountain initially invaded, he assisted the Spirits by leading the flock of his kind to "attack" the Demons. Such an attack was merely being present, since their kind tend to hold a sort of "light" in their souls. Due to the bond he and the Spirits have, he was kipnapped in order to lure the Spirits into a slight trap created by the Demons of the Mountain.

The Demons of the Mountain

NPC Names: Hif'kojoni & Zinnya'kufai
Genders: Male & Female
Titles: Demons of the Mountain, The Darkness
Personalities: Both are very serious and dangerous to a fault. They are both quite intelligent and are quite knowledgeable of "human" nature. They are both quite close, with a much stronger bond than lovers even have. Both prefer darkness to light, and tend to be malicious if even given an inch. Hif'kojoni tends to be more quiet and reserved of the pair, where Zinnya'kufai tends to do more of the talking and speaks with a noticeable hiss. Approach with caution.
Roles: Both demons of the Mountain seem to do what they can to sink the Mountain into darkness. They are responsible for the strain of kitsusagi called "Bobtails," who were cursed by the demons so that they might become slaves or servants. Thwarted once by the spirits, they decided to counter their previous efforts with a new creation: smaller kitsusagi with lesser amounts of evil and darkness in them like nightmares have in them (the imps).
History: Not much is known at this time about their history or origin.

Leader of the Imps

NPC Name: Mari'piqua
Gender: Female
Titles: Leader of the Imps, Daughter of the Demons
Personality: Being an eternal child of the Mountain, she tends to act quite childish. Given her position of Leadership, she tends to be a power-monger. Even with her given power, she tends to act more like a spoiled child rather than a true leader. She is quite cunning, and won't hesitate to let anyone know this fact.
Roles: Being the first of her kind, she is considered the Leader of the Imp-kind. Her bond with the Demons is so strong, she views the demons as parental figures and won't hesitate to call them her "Mama" and "Papa." She serves as eyes for both Demons, and assisted greatly in the kidnapping of Yiba'kundi (leader of Cherubs). This character tends to be used for smaller random events/announcements or for RP-plots.
History: Her current history lies within her role, for she is a relatively new NPC still.  

[Kitsusagi Mountain]

The Bringers of the Season of Love

NPC Names: Aphrodite & Adonis Eros III
Genders: Female & Male
Titles: Pixies from far away, Bringers of the Season of Love, Creator of Love-dust
Personalities: They are quite the intimate couple, seeing as they are truly "in-love" mates. Aphrodite is a very motherly figure who definitely believes in "love at first sight," though this point of view is heavily influenced by her own ability. Adonis Eros III might not seem as fatherly a figure, but he extremely devoted to his mate and is even willing to deny instinct to be with her.
Roles: Aphrodite's role is much larger and well known at the Mountain, for she was the one who doused the Mountain in her "love-dust," creating the Season of Love. She also was the first to introduce the new species of kitsusagi called Pixies by laying/planting her first litter of eggs at the Mountain.
History: Not much is known at this time about their history, except they live in a garden far away from the Mountain. The rest about their history is a mystery.
