A very important reminder. PLEASE read this thread. I feel sad it was moved to Chatterbox... I think it warranted at least GD material, but whatever.
Remember never to support mills like Perfect Pocket Pets, West Wind Critters, etc. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. And by all means, strive for the education of others and the good of the glider.

I just added to that list a note to ask around Glider Central about PPP if they are a victim.

That is soo sad sad I'll ask around to the people I know and see if they know anything or can help in any way.
... wow, I am reading the ppp website.. the worst thing so far I have read was in thier faq about vets. They say you won't need one.. but in all reality you need to make sure you have a vet around that can help the suggies if something happens. And they say they don't get any type of disease or ailment.. that's not true either sad

Yeah, they try to make glider ownership as EASY sounding as possible... so they can SELL MORE. Their website is all flashy cartoons and gimmicks. They make everything look fun, like NOTHING could go wrong. NO cat or dog will ever attack your glider because they don't smell like food. FALSE. Some cats and dogs CAN get used to a glider, but you never know what may happen if they see a glider dash across the room quickly. They aren't thinking "hmmm... I wonder if that smells like food." They just think "WOOO! CATCH IT!" it can happen that quick.
Having a glider is awesome. But it isn't easy. And people need to be prepared for their individual challenges.
Look at the "travel cages" they sell. The size of them will make you cry.
